worked for less than a year

bought this machine in july 2020. used for 2 months. installed this year and it no longer works — fan setting doesn’t change off of “low” and so basically is incapable of cooling even a small room at this point. was a very expensive machine, and got 2 months of use out of it. total waste of money. won’t be buying frigidaire again anytime soon.

Noisy

Just bought the unit and after about 30 mins the water hit the condenser is load and annoying. Any way to stop this? The rest of the unit works find cools down the room with no issues. If have other Frigidaire units that are not like this. Any help would be great.

We appreciate you sharing your comments and experience with us. Droplets of water hitting condenser during normal operation may cause “pinging or swishing” sounds. We much advised not to drill any holes on the base pan to eliminate the normal sounds, otherwise it will void the warranty and could compromise the casing of the air conditioner. This sound may be more noticeable during high humidity days when more condensation is more present. Additional details about normal operating sounds are available to view within the manual.

Feature loaded unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is fantastic! It’s loaded with useful features like sleep mode, starts and test the room temp to see if it needs to run or not and and repeats the test every 10 minutes or so. The eco setting along with the auto fan setting works great.

I've had this product for almost a year.
The A/C runs fine, isn't toooo loud and cools about as expected (no more).
The thermostat cannot read temperature, even near accurately.
It always reads temperature way too low.
This is critical because the compressor only comes on based on the temperature reading.
