New lawn mower

I have only used the new mower two times. But so far it is very effective and easy to use. The height adjustment for the deck is 10 times easier than any other mower I have had. The bag does not clog up when the grass is heavy and full of moisture. Given the size of our yard, one set of batteries will not mow it. But since I have multiple WORX tools, I have extra batteries to change to and get the yard done in one session.

NITRO 40V 21" Self-Propelled Lawn Mower Works great at cutting my 1/3 acre lot without any issues. Even though it is self-propelled, I mostly use it by pushing since it is a little easier to change speeds constantly and it is light enough to push easily. A 2nd set of batteries may be needed for 1/2 acre/ using self-propelled.

Safety Feature Works!

I purchased last year’s model and have used it on steep hills. The locking wheel feature saved me more than once. What another reviewer said about locking wheels is not quite correct. The wheels unlock after a few seconds. This holds the mower to avoid slipping but releases it so you can continue. This mower consistently does a great job. I use the mulching feature all the time and love how leaves, grass and anything small becomes fine mulch. I never have to rake excess grass and I don’t cut the grass very often.

The battery life is impressive

I’ve had the chance to use this mower twice so far this fall, and it has honestly exceeded my expectations. The battery life is impressive—I have a medium-sized yard (not small, not huge), and by the time I finished mowing, the battery still had more than half of its charge left.
The mower itself is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I purchased the self-propelled version, but I only needed to use that feature in a few hilly areas. For most of the yard, pushing it manually was effortless, which will help conserve battery life in the long run.
Overall, I’m very happy with this mower. It performs well, is easy to handle, and has excellent battery efficiency. Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used it twice and love it. I originally had a Worx, then switched to a Poulan, and went back to Worx, and I’m glad I did. I even splurged for the self-propelled version, which makes life a little easier for me!
The new design is better than the original one I had several years ago.

Self propellor locks.

Although the lawnmower is supposed to be able to handle multiple types of terrain, when I use it on my hill to mow half way up and then pull it backwards, the self-propelled is locked, and the wheels are locked, and I have to lift the back of the lawnmower up to get it down the hill. It’s a safety issue and it’s an irritating issue and I would never buy this lawnmower again because of it. I have to pay my Neighbor to mow my hill with his lawnmower that is not a Worx lawnmower.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my new mower and it is so much better than the gas powered one that I own. No more pulling until your arm falls off to get it started. I really like the option to bag, mulch and shoot grass out the back instead of the side. It's super easy to use and very minimal put together. I've not gotten to really put it to the test yet because it is still cold here but the bit I did use it was very nice. I'm excited for when I do have to finally cut grass. Lol
