This latest model has some cool new functionality with the sensors, but I don't know about the new button system for changing out the bands. Originally I thought it was really cool, but after wearing some sunscreen and sweating-that stuff gets stuck in the buttons. Now when I try to press the buttons to change the bands they are stuck for a moment and take a bit of force to press down. I worry that in the future it will be even harder to get those buttons to continue functioning as intended.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unfortunately the only feature that is accurate is the time of day and the timers. None of the other features are accurate. I had a g4 before and I read the marketing stuff that said the g8 was more accurate but much to my dismay it's not.

I updated from a galaxy watch 4 to this galaxy 8.
The updated software is excellent, updated watch faces and tiles are easier to use. Although the watch face is same size, the bezel shape makes it appear larger. Very modern looking watch, I've had many compliments in the gym and on the golf course!
