[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This watch has a battery life of zilch. I can't wear it at night to track my sleep because as soon as I get home I have to put in on the charger. What's the point of having notifications on a watch if I need to limit the notifications to conserve battery? I put my watch on at 5:15 am fully charged only to make it home by 5pm and it be at 15% or lower. EVERYDAY. I experienced the same with my S7 watch so I upgraded thinking the 8 would be better. NO AT ALL. SO DISAPPOINTED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Notifications don't come through. Doesn't last a whole day on a single charge. Not for me at all. I won't spend my money on a galaxy watch again. AI features have been tested out but there isn't a reason I can think of as to why AI is needed on a watch???

This was an upgrade from my Watch6, and it's a little bit better across the board: slightly thinner, slightly better battery, slightly faster performance. If you're into the health insights, that's probably the area of greatest progress. Seamless pairing with my Flip7. Highly recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Connection Issues
on November 25, 2025

It won't stay connected to my phone. I've only had it 2 days. Done all the trouble shooting. My options are to return or replace, why replace with another watch that wont connect (I had 2 6's with the same issue). Everything is up to date and my phone has no issues staying connected to anything else.

Pretty watch but not good for measuring exercise
on August 12, 2025

I love that this watch is very light-weighted, I can easily wear it to sleep. The band is also very comfortable. However, this watch doesn't record my exercise well, especially during HIIT or hot yoga when I start to sweat. Watch 7 never had this issue. My watch 8 just keep stop measuring my heart rate; thus, the calories keep increasing automatically. I took the watch out several times during exercising to wipe it dry, but it doesn't help.
