[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how it tracks my workouts effortlessly!! I start walking and, bam its picked up and noted!! All of the voice features are helpful! I left my phone inside my work after I locked the door... and I could still call my coworker to let me back in for my phone!!!!

I am so glad I upgraded to the Galaxy watch 8
on April 6, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This watch is awesome for work or playing outside with the grand baby and knowing I do not need my phone with me. Just in case something happens, I have my watch on, which has the same features of a phone with emergency contacts set and great signal. I had an old galaxy watch for ever and it was time for a new one, she got old, and Im so so glad I upgraded. Makes life so much easier.
A really nice watch with many great features. The only fault is the battery life. I chose the 40mm but found out later that it had a smaller battery. I ran out of power the first night. Since then I've had to turn off many features to make it day to day. I have to charge daily even with features turned off. I like the watch otherwise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Inaccurate Heart Rate
on April 10, 2026

I bought this watch because the product said it had the best heart rate monitor and I have AFIB so this was important... When I work out and use different exercise modes I get varied results. In stationary bike mode the heart rate seems to be fairly accurate, but in treadmill or weight machine mode it seems to double the heart rate. Today I was on the treadmill and the machine has a heart rate monitor on it and showed my heart rate at 78 bpm which it what it was... but the watch showed my heart rate at 156 bpm. This happens all of the time when I use the weight machines also. I will set the mode to weight machines and even before I start exercising the heart rate will start to climb to 130 before I have even done anything and will then go up to 160 or so after I start exercising. Don't tell me I am wearing the watch band to loose, or too tight. This works just fine when I am riding the stationary bike and shows correct results, but change to weight machine or treadmill and it seems to double my reading. If I didn't know what my pulse was, I would worry that I had gone into AFIB. I was hopeful when my watch did a system update that this problem might be fixed, but so far it stays alarmingly inaccurate and I cannot depend on the BP ready to how what my heart is actually doing.

Greetings WildcatLover, Thanks for reaching out to share your feedback with us regarding your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Watch8. Your candor allows us to make improvements on our product line to better suit the needs of our customers. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If the heart rate tracking feature is not working properly on your watch, the watch band or strap may be too loose or the watch's software might need updating. However, a simple reboot may solve the problem. Please take a moment to review, "Step tracking and heart rate monitoring not working properly on Galaxy watch" to help resolve what you've described. For your convenience, I have included some additional resources down below for your review. Please keep in mind that the Galaxy Watch8 has been designed for screening purposes, not diagnosis. Smartwatches are not substitutes for medical-grade devices and should not be relied upon solely for diagnosing or monitoring Afib, especially if symptoms exist. Feel free to reach out to Samsung Support afterward if you have any questions or if you would like any further assistance. Thanks for choosing Samsung! - Debra
