New but still familiar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are some noticeable changes compared to previous models when you first get the watch. That said, many of the core features remain the same, so it feels like an upgrade without being overwhelming or difficult to adjust to.
I found setup quick and easy, and the ability to personalize the watch to fit your preferences and needs is a big plus. Overall, the watch is very user-friendly and straightforward which I love.
Some of my favorite features are the versatility—it’s not just a watch. You can send and receive texts, take calls, listen to music, and track workouts, along with many other useful functions.
My main complaint is with the charging design. The new watch doesn’t sit as securely on the charger when placed on a flat surface. The band design prevents it from laying as flat as previous models, which can make charging a bit less convenient.
Overall, it’s a solid upgrade that builds on what already worked well, with just a minor design drawback for me.

01. Battery life is poor.
02. Not sure how long this watch can be connected to the phone. My Gear S3 watch is in excellent working condition but it can't be connected to my phone (S26). Error: watch can not be connected after 2024 releases ( ???.)
03. Color: when choose black color, added some black item between the buttons. Not sure, how we say that watch is black. Goto the site try to customize color and see. How funny it was.
Functionality is good when compared to Gear S3. More features added. But the battery life is poor.

My watch isn't every day accessory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feel lost without my watch if I don't have it cuz I use it so much throughout my daily life whether it's checking my messages or phone calls at work that I always miss on my phone or using my Samsung health to check my heart rate and stress level and also tracking my steps.
I love that it also has Galaxy AI on it I literally don't think I could live without it anymore

🌙 Sleep Tracking That Actually Helps

I put it on thinking it would just track my steps and look cute… but no, this thing is over here acting like my little personal assistant, health coach, and nosy friend all in one. And honestly? I’m here for it.
🤖 Galaxy AI Really Shows Out
Galaxy AI is wild in the best way.
It watches what I do (in a non-creepy way 😭) and then breaks everything down for me like,
“Girl… here’s what actually happened today.”
No guessing, no overthinking.
It reads my patterns, gives me suggestions that make sense for my life, and explains all my stats without making me feel like I need a medical degree.
It’s basically the friend who tells you the truth but does it gently.
🌙 Now Let’s Talk About This Sleep Tracking…
Listen.
The sleep features? I love them.
The watch tells me:
How long I was in deep, light, and REM sleep
Why my sleep score is giving “you tried” or “you did amazing”
If I snored (rude but helpful 😅)
What my oxygen levels looked like
Even my skin temperature changes like… okay scientist, calm down
And the best part?
Galaxy AI actually explains the numbers so I’m not staring at the screen like, “What does any of this even mean?”
Some mornings I look at my score and it’s like,
“Yeah sis, that toddler kept you up, but you’ll live.”
And honestly… relatable.💛 Final Thoughts
If someone asked me whether the Galaxy Watch 8 is worth it, I’d say yes, without even thinking.

I get so busy that I need something that will push through important messages and phone calls. It works well with my new phone that assists me with my tasks. Most of the time my tasks are driven by the Galaxi AI features from my phone.
