Great watch with many features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The watch 8 40mm is just the right size for smaller wrist and fits closer than previous watches. Watch has many great features including comprehensive health tracking. The AI functions allow hands free use and modifications. I like the new band attachment for quick band changes. The new antioxidant and vascular load feature give additional health data for better overall health metrics. The watch ties in nicely with my cgm and blood pressure accessories using Samsung health. Has been helpful with tracking our gym workouts and heart rate monitoring. Watch completes our ecosystem and ties everything together nicely. I recommend the watch 8 for those that want the pinnacle of capability in a daily wearable friendly watch.

I haven't worn a watch this large before so it has taken some getting used to. The watch and band are both very comfortable, but thick enough to have long sleeves not slide over without some help. Programming to include the apps and abilities/tiles I wanted was a learning curve, complicated by the lack of a user manual (UM). I downloaded the UM for the Watch8 with cell connectivity from the Samsung site because there doesn't seem to be one for the wifi-only model, which helped (the link in the phone app's help section doesn't work). I have a Samsung phone, so the phone app and watch sync occurred automatically. I do not use the 'always on' display setting, have a black, basic, simple clock face, check heart rate every 10 min instead of continuously, and turned off having it signal or show every phone notice I get. With those settings, I usually get about 2 days and nights before the battery needs charging. Charging takes about an hour so it's quick, using the recommended fast charging adapter.

I love this watch! I had the OG watch and this one does so much more. The battery life is much longer and I chose Samsung over Garmin due to Samsungs ease of use and price. This watch does everything I need it to for marathon training, plus some.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Probably Samsung best watch they have ever made. Had a lot of features that I haven't used yet. I do take advantage of the step count because I am on my feet all day. The one feature I do like is that you can play music directly from the watch. It helps me to continue to be in contact with anyone while my phone charges

Previous watch 6 lasted days. Watch 8 only really goes a day even with features off. No point of sleep tracking if you must charge nightly

Great Battery Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear my galaxy watch almost all the time except when it needs charging. I used Galaxy Watch 7 before this one. Most prominent change and very beneficial is the most improved battery life and Galaxy AI. I can last to about 2 days, AOD on, daily workouts +/-45 mins. Galaxy AI is way responsive than before. And this device os way smoother. I am happy I upgraded to 8 from the 7.
