Galaxy watch 8 battery disappoint

really like all the features — they make my workday so much easier. However, the battery life is disappointing. It doesn’t even last through an 8-hour shift, which is a big downside for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The battery life is improved, but not by much. The sleep stats are inconsistent; seem to calculate every other day. I like the face and the band; i got the hybrid band. I traded in my galaxy 6, so i didn't pay full price or else i would've been upset that i did. I hope the galaxy 9 will be the best yet.

Honestly this watch irritates my soul

This watch fails to work even on the basic level. The health monitoring, sleep tracking and everything else works ONLY when it wants to. Im about to throw this thing in the garbage.

Battery drains really fast

The battery drains really fast. Mine doesn't even last a day. Even if I leave it unused, the battery is gone more than half by the end of the day. Really disappointed. Also the touch response is bad. Its like when your RAM is full and goes slow.

An abundance of features. I use it for health management primarily. I find it very rich with health measuring and monitoring capabilities. My biggest gripe is the database for searching food items. It needs lots of improvements. It doesn’t have as many food items as one would expect. And its search algorithm is horrible. If you don't type a food name exactly as they have it listed in the database, you'll never find it. Overall the watch is very useful and easy to operate. Samsung should study the stats on how well their Galaxy Watch products test compared to other wearable devices. Samsung falls behind in performance when compared to 2 other manufacturers' wearable devices.

Nice watch. Horrible Battery Life

It's an okay watch. I purchased it to stay within the Samsung ecosystem and was hoping for smooth integration with my phone. Everything works fine: nice gesture controls, good screen color and brightness, and awesome features.
However, the biggest problem is battery life. I am averaging a day and a half, and this is with some features turned off. I assumed battery life would have improved over previous generations, but it's actually worse. I have had other smartwatches with similar feature sets that could last nearly two weeks. Disappointing battery life for a modern device.
