Caution, the bands run rather small... other than that the watch is much more substantial than last years model, with alot more functions that are user friendly.
I love this watch. The face on it is so much bigger.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the galaxy 8 watch in the black with the lte option in the 40mm size. I bought this watch primarily for health monitoring but also because duo already had an app for it and I use it often.
The health features have been very insightful and actually help me stay motivated which I had not anticipated. My Dr office uses a platform that does link to samsung health so I was able to really get a full profile. Truly did not miss on this goal and I havent run into anything I wish was better or different in this regard.
Duo on my watch has made life so much easier. It is one of those things, if you know, you know.
Having the Galaxy AI on the watch was actually extremely convenient. I have been playing around with Gemini for a while but having it available to schedule my meetings alone has been so, so convenient. I customized my watch face to be able to access it with one tap, fast - I say the command and its done in seconds. I did end up upgrading my Gemini and Google one for more features but thats a different product I def recommend if you use it.
Watch band I got was the silicone option, it tucks under instead of over and is very comfortable even after a long day. I wish I had known when purchasing that the smaller face was going to mean a much shorter battery life as I did buy this primarily for health monitoring. So now I do have to charge it as soon as I wake up so I can get all the metrics I want and still have it ready for the day. Wish you could add google voice.
Switching over from Watch 6 Classic was seamless. So far, everything I'm used to using is available; however, things like using the timer during workouts, it does not stay on top, where I can see the countdown, even with Always on Display enabled. The timer keeps hiding in the background. If this is a user or setting error, I am open to figuring out how to keep the timer visible on the screen while in use. Also, the supplied sports band is uncomfortable. For some reason, I am conscious of it and thought because I have a smaller wrist and selected the smaller band, perhaps that was the issue; however, even increasing the band makes it too loose and still annoys me. So essentially this is Watch 6 awesome with Watch 8 annoyances.
