I chose the G8W (Galaxy 8 Watch) as a Technology update and Features additions. There was nothing wrong with my three years old Galaxy 5 Version. After a bit of an uphill "Learning Curve", with additional features and additional settings choices, ALL my expectations were met or exceeded.

The Galaxy Watch 8 44mm has been a fantastic upgrade from my previous Watch 5. Right away, the performance difference is noticeable—it’s much faster and smoother in everyday use. Apps open quicker, navigation feels more responsive, and overall it just keeps up better without any lag.
One of the biggest improvements for me is the text-to-speech. It works much better than before, picking up my voice more accurately and responding faster, which makes replying to messages on the go a lot easier and less frustrating.
I also really love the gesture controls. They feel intuitive and actually useful, especially when my hands are full or I don’t want to touch the screen. It’s one of those features that sounds small but ends up making a big difference in daily use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The watch is nice and stylish. I get lots of compliments. I bought an additional band for it so I can wear it anywhere. I haven't used the Galaxy AI feature on it yet because I'm trying to figure it out on my Galaxy 25 Ultra first. But I look forward to playing around with it more so I fully utilize all of its features.

It's Nice, but..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the 25 Ultra. I switched from a different phone brand and it was a very easy and pleasant transition. I love Samsung TV, i use it all the time since i don't currently have any streaming subscriptions. I use Galaxy AI here and there, still trying to carefully navigate how to use it. My only gripe about the phone is the battery. Since day 1 it has only lasted about 17 hours a day. And it's getting progressively worse after only 5 months of use. These phones are way too expensive and known to be used to the extent of a lifeline for many consumers, for the batteries to be so subpar and not be able to handle heavy usage.

So i switched from an S3, the features and smoothness of the watch is great. My only issue and its been the same for the last 2 I had is the battery only last 2 days at most with general use. I love the watch but I wish there was a way to make it last longer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this watch for health monitoring, accessing photos, reading messages in meetings when I can't look at my phone, checking my calendar while I'm on the run, and so much more. I was surprised by my ability to take calls when I was very far from my phone. I am looking into how Galaxy AI interfaces with my new watch now that it is paired with my S26 Ultra. The battery life is very good, although I would love a watch that lasted weeks without a charge!
