The Galaxy Watch8 44mm is a great Android smartwatch with excellent display, health features, and smooth performance. The main downside is battery life, which usually requires charging every 1–2 days.

I had a Galaxy S3 Frontier as my previous Galaxy Wear and going to this was a massive step up. The overall performance is great, the custom ability to add apps that I couldn't prior, as well as being able to enjoy music straight from the watch is nice as there are times my phone is charging in another room. The size is great and the band fits perfectly.

I love that this watch tracks so many things and that is why I upgraded from the Watch5. The battery life is about half of that of the Watch5 and most of the time, my notifications don't work. I do love the small form factor but I have lost a good deal of functionality. This is more a decorative watch than the functionally smart watch I wanted. I want my Watch5 back but I already traded it in. SADFACE
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrading from my Galaxy Watch 5. Love the new bezel look. Attaching and detaching the watch band works well. Wish I would have stuck with the darker bezel color instead of silver. I was trying to match the Buds Pro 4 silver color but that didn't work out. Watch is amazing regardless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Watch 8 is an amazing watch, I love the way the watch looks and feels on the wrist. Samsung had bright back a similar look to the watch 2018 design and upgrade for today. I love the style, which looks luxurious, simple and classy at the same time. Samsung has added additional features to the watch 8 functionality, and ease of use. I love using the health benefits that watch offers paired with Samsung health, makes it so much easier when I don't have my Samsung Z fold 7 near by. The watch 8 is also an amazing watch thst feels comfortable to wear to sleep to track sleep patterns. An amazing accessory to my other Samsung devices.
