I upgraded from. Galaxy 5 watch to the Galaxy 8. It is a great watch for tracking my day and health. It is much more comfortable to wear than my Galaxy 5, which means I can sleep comfortably with it to track my sleep health etc. It is also slimmer. It’s all around a very nice watch. It wasn’t hard to find and download some apps. I also learned some new things to make it easier to use certain gestures to use the watch. I am very happy with my upgrade!

Stopped working no display

the phone just the watch just stopped working I don't know why it won't even charge for me

You'll need to charge it before turning it on. The new watch 8 was a nice upgrade from the watch 7. Band style and connection is much better and I like the slightly larger and flatter watch body itself.

It's okay, a luxury purchase for sure. It bought it mainly to try out the sleep tracking, which is somewhat helpful--it's probably not much less accurate than any other option, but it's certainly no better, just a lot more expensive. I also use it to track my heart rate during workouts, which again, it's probably not a lot less accurate than other options, just a lot more expensive. For me, the battery lasts about 2 nights and it recharges pretty quickly. I selected what I thought was the nicest looking watchband option, but it's still cheap plastic--calling it "breathable" is definitely aspirational. Overall, if you have the money to waste, it's fine. Maybe there are some people you can impress.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
