Thus far the Watch 8 is working quite well though I'm still working through how to get get the best battery life while maintaining the health insights. I have taken this on a few runs and have found it has been relatively accurate in measuring heart rate (I have been wearing a second heart rate band too). I'll keep playing with things to see what other insights I gain.

So far I am distressed because the charge lasted for only 1 day. I simplified the face, hoping that helps. Wish I could figure out if the O2 can monitor my overnight values...that is what I need and what I have been getting with my old FitBit!

It's similar to extended warranty and an insurance package combined that provides protection beyond the standard manufacturer's warranty. It may cover events like accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns, and potentially theft and loss. Samsung Care+ offers you the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to protecting your investment. The Galaxy Watch8 40mm model comes with a 325mAh battery, and the 44mm model has a 435mAh battery. Both options offer up to 30 hours of use in Always On Display (AOD) mode. Please check out, "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" to see what factors, if any, may be impacting the life of your device. The Galaxy Watch8 is able to monitor your blood oxygen levels at night, but you will need to enable the feature in your Samsung Health settings on the watch to track it during sleep, which provides insights into sleep stages and potential sleep apnea signs, though it's not a medical device. I had a pixel watch 1 before this and was OK. After I bought a Samsung phone and connected it to the watch it was a night and day difference. The battery last at least twice as long. The screen is a lot clearer and easy to read and it has a bunch of different forms of info on it.
