I like the watch. The issue is it doesn't stay charged for a full work day. I can't figure out if something I can't find is running in the background. I haven't downloaded any aps or programs. I'm at a loss why this is happening.

Howdy Swatson, Thanks for sharing your feedback with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Watch8. The Galaxy Watch8 offers a powerful 3nm processor that has longer battery life and improved performance. The battery life on the Galaxy Watch8 varies depending on the usage. The 40mm model comes with a 325mAh battery, and the 44mm model has a 435mAh battery. Both offer up to 30 hours of use in Always On Display (AOD) mode. It's difficult for me to give an assessment because the criteria need to be evaluated separately. The device itself is good, attractive, lightweight, and has many features. But personally, smart watches don't suit me because they require constant charging, which is very inconvenient for me. Perhaps in the future, when it becomes possible to make a good, high-capacity battery for watches, I will use a smart watch.
The size is perfect for small arms. Screen color is crisp and clear. Also like being able to customize the watch face. The material quality feels good.
Love this watch - Easy band swaps + better battery

I just upgraded to the Galaxy Watch 8 and I’m really happy with it. The first thing I noticed is how much easier it is to interchange the bands. It’s quick, simple, and actually makes me want to switch bands depending on what I’m doing.
The battery life is also noticeably better, which was a big reason I upgraded. I don’t feel like I’m constantly thinking about charging it.
One honest note: I have very small wrists (kid-size, basically), so the larger squared face felt a little big on my “twig” of a wrist at first. It took some getting used to. But after wearing it a bit, I adjusted—and the benefits outweigh that initial “wow, this looks huge” feeling.
Overall, solid upgrade and I’d absolutely recommend it—especially if you want better battery and easier band changes.
For me, my Watch 7 really wasnt that comfortable from the get go...I would have it on the charger for days because the back of it was too "bolbous" and dug into me. Hearing the 8 was thinner and more comfortable was enough to draw me in, i love it. Its so much better than the 7 for that aspect alone. The ai is cool too
