Wonderful cleaner for accident and spills!

The Bissell turbo clean upright carpet cleaner is a wonderful machine for big messes on carpets. Pet accidents and spills were quickly taken care of, faster than other methods I've tried. The machine is about half the size of the big Bissell carpet cleaner which makes it super lightweight and easy to move around. Putting it together took about 30 seconds. While there are no extra tools or a wand, it doesn't seem necessary since this really seems to shine with spot accidents as opposed to a full whole room clean. This also does make it faster to set up and break down, only taking a few minutes for each. Thank you to the Stellar Products Testing Panel for providing this cleaner!

Very User Friendly Carpet Cleaner!

I really like this carpet cleaner and found it easy to set up and use in a short amount of time. It's about the size of a standard vacuum cleaner including in weight. I found it easy to understand how to use as well as smooth in movement. There were a couple of times I wondered if it was still sucking up dirt/residue because the sound changed but the filling of the dirty tank, its contents, and how my carpet looked afterward confirmed that it was indeed sucking everything back up. I used it on area rugs, a runner, and carpeted rooms for general cleaning and particular spots and I have been happy with its cleaning power (and embarrassed to realize how much vacuuming alone wasn't getting up!). I'm most impressed with its results and ease of use overall. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner!

Handy Little Upright Carpet Cleaner

As a stay at home mom with two very active kids, messes happen, and often. When I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I had planned to use it to shampoo the kids room. When I was cleaning I discovered that there was a spot where a dog I had a few years ago had been going in the house and I hadn't noticed. I have learned from past experiences that old stains like this take multiple rounds of shampooing even for the professional grade cleaners. So I was prepared for it to not all come up on the first round. I was impressed with the TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner every time I used it, both the small spot cleans along with doing the whole room! I was impressed with how easy it was to clean it between uses and after I was done as well as the compact size being easy to store.

Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me the opportunity to try out the Bissell TurboClean Upright Carper Cleaner. I have really enjoyed using this carpet cleaner. One of the best parts of this carpet cleaner to me is the maneuverability. This carpet cleaner is incredibly light (under 13 pounds) and so easy to push back and forth when using. The cleaner is also very easy to use. The water tank was easy to fill and the dirty water tank was easy to remove and empty. The instructions were very easy to follow when setting up. It probably took me under 5 minutes to put together and figure out how to use this product! The cleaning power of this carpet cleaner is fantastic! I did my 8x10 area rug in under 20 minutes, and it literally saved my rug! For reference, my husband fed our toddler boys dinner one night. One of them dropped a bowl of pasta with red sauce, and he only wiped up the actual pieces of pasta. When I saw it the next morning it was SO red and I thought our rug was a goner. With absolutely no pretreatment and the sauce dried on the rug, this carpet cleaner literally "turbo-cleaned" the stain out of the rug! I cleaned the whole rug and I went over that spot a few times. The stain at this point is almost completely gone! Amazing!! The cleaning solution that came with my carpet cleaner smelled fresh and wasn't over powering or chemically smelling. I really like that this carpet cleaner really suctions the water back out of the rug so well. I thought for sure that my rug would be wet for at least a day, but the rug was just damp and dried in a few hours. The carpet cleaner was also very easy to disassemble and clean when I was finished using. I do wish that this carpet cleaner came with extra tools to clean smaller areas (spot clean), or tools to use on the stairs, but overall I am very happy with this carpet cleaner. This is a great addition to my cleaning tools and now I know I have this to tackle any mess!

The turboclean loses suction within 6 months. The also fails to pump enough water to create a spray from the handheld unit. It just drips out to dump water all over my furniture. I got this to replace my crosswave pet. I have always had Boswell full size units, but got this because I thought it would be a solid unit...I was so wrong.

TurboClean Great Product & Supports our Fur Babies

I have grown very fond & confident in Bissell products so I decided to try the TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner. I have a modest size home with a combination of carpet in the living areas & laminate in the kitchen & bathrooms. That said I have minimal carpet areas to maintain so this Bissell carpet cleaner is ideal for my needs.
Assembly is literally as quick as a snap here & a snap there. All components snapped together with minimal effort. The whole assembly time took less than 5 minutes or so.
After reading the instructions, I determined it would be prudent to order a regular bottle of Bissell carpet cleaner. As with my carpet cleaner oder, the carpet cleaner formula arrived within 2 days. YaY!
So, I got to work. I did the carpets in my guest bedroom & home office. There were a couple of troublesome high traffic areas that required pre-treatment. The end results of my first run through was very very good! Carpet dried quickly, too.

Btw, the TurboClean Carpet Cleaner is a smaller unit so it requires emptying the dirty water hopper & refilling the cleaning solution hopper somewhat frequently especially when doing extra passes over heavily soiled areas. No biggie as the end result is more than satisfactory! And ideally, be sure to vacuum before using the carpet cleaner.
After all that excitement, I decided to do my master bedroom, living room & hallway the following day. Knowing the process, I was able to do the three areas very efficiently with desirable results.
Once I completed my carpet cleaning cycle, I did a thorough cleaning of all the components, as I do with all of my tools & hh appliances. The cleaning process was simple & didn't take much time.
One note, I would strongly recommend disposing the dirty water outside instead of down the sink drain. With all the hair & dirt balls, it could easily clog your drains. Furthermore, if you dump the dirty water with all the effluent, it could damage your garbage disposal.
Once I completed my carpet cleaning cycle, I did a thorough cleaning of all the components, as I do with all of my tools & hh appliances. The cleaning process was simple & didn't take much time.
