I've always wanted to have my carpets cleaned, but I never wanted to bother renting a machine and having to bring it back, and the cost of having them professionally done was prohibitive. I received the TurboClean as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is a great alternative to both! The machine is about the size of a vacuum cleaner, so that's a consideration when thinking about storage space. It doesn't fold of anything because of the water container, so you'll need to have some closet space for it to live in when it's not in use. I found it really intuitive to put together and get started. The instructions were really clear, and it wasn't challenging to get assembled. I used it almost immediately! My downstairs rug is a medium pile 8x10, and I was able to clean it without refilling the water. That rug is our living room rug, and we have an 11 month old, so it is the most used in our home. We also have a cat and a dog, so it's pretty gross. I did a pass with a regular vacuum first, and then went in with the TurboClean. I was really impressed by how easy it was to maneuver. It's not heavy, and even with water in it it wasn't challenging to use. The rug was immediately noticeably cleaner, and the water that had run through the machine was GROSS. The instructions suggest doing a "dry pass" until you no longer see water running through the brushes, but it never seemed to run out of water nomatter how many dry passes I did. Regardless, the dry time on the rug was barely anything! It was damp for maybe two hours, but even then I felt comfortable walking on it. That was my biggest concern and I was really pleased. I also used this cleaner for my office, which is where my cat's litter box is. I did the same process, but for a whole room I needed to refill twice. That carpet did have some stains that the Turboclean didn't remove, but I didn't do any stain-lifting treatment on them at all, so it may have been more effective had I done that first. It also

This is the type of product you think about renting from some place to do that spring cleaning...but then never do. You think you're getting by and have a fairly clean carpet, but then decide between kids walking in and out, the occasional drink getting spilled, and other life happenings, it's time to actually get the carpet clean. And the TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner is a great item to have on hand to tackle the dirty part that living life entails. It was very straightforward to use, easy set up and the directions were clear to get me started on cleaning up my carpet. And yuck! I had such dirty carpet We are an active and outdoorsy family, host plenty of gatherings with friends, and, even with a shoes off policy in our home, we are in and out all the time. As you can see from my photos, our carpet shows use. My three critiques are very minor and are 1) I'd prefer an inner cord storage instead of the standard wrap on the outside, 2) move the power button up the handle shaft instead of having it near the bottom, and 3) a small stair-friendly extension would be perfection. All in all, this is a beast of a product and stood the test of cleaning up our carpets. I'm definitely keeping this as part of our regular cleaning routine to keep our carpets clean and our home welcoming for us and our guests! Great carpet cleaner for families with kids and pets

This turbo clean upright carpet cleaner has a lot of power for something so compact. I first used it to clean my mudroom rug since that is where we take our shoes off and it gets pretty gross. The water was so dirty after I cleaned the rug and I feel so much happier knowing that rug is clean! I really like the cleaning solution that it came with because it didn't get too sudsy and it has a great smell. My favorite thing about the carpet cleaner is its size. It is small enough to fit in my cleaning cupboard, but big enough to clean large areas of carpets and rugs without me losing my patience at how long it takes. I also don't have to get on my hands and knees to clean like many other small cleaners require. We have 3 young children and 2 cats and this is going to be so easy and convenient to use for the many messes kids and pets create. I will be starting potty training with my toddler soon and I foresee me using this upright carpet cleaner everyday! Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this carpet cleaner.

The Bissell TurboClean™ Upright Carpet Cleaner is a compact and thoughtfully designed carpet cleaner. I have hesitated to purchase a carpet cleaner in the past because I was afraid I would not have the storage space but this cleaner fits perfectly in a small closet alongside a regular vacuum. While the overall design is practical, I wish the power switch was located closer to the top of the handle for easier access. Despite this minor inconvenience, it's lightweight enough to glide easily across rugs and carpet. It does not come with additional tools for tight spaces or detailed cleaning, it is primarily designed for large surface areas, but this was not a deal breaker for me. As for cleaning performance, I used it to tackle set-in dog stains and everyday dirt and grime that I didn't even realize was embedded in the carpet. Watching the dirty water tank fill up was both satisfying and shocking-it truly showed how much debris it was lifting. It handled pet messes well, including dog hair, which occasionally accumulated on the roller but was easy to remove. The machine also helped reduce lingering pet odors with its strong, fragrant cleaning solution, though I did need to air out the house afterward due to the scent's intensity. What I loved most about this carpet cleaner is how compact and easy it is to use for weekly maintenance. It's no louder than a regular vacuum, making it manageable even during a busy household day. I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have always wanted to clean my carpets and area rugs in my house but the task always seemed too daunting. However, the TurboClean™ Upright Carpet Cleaner made everything a breeze. It was four simple parts to click together. The containers for the water have large openings for easy filling and emptying. I was able to quickly get started with cleaning. The instructions were easy to follow. The machine itself is surprisingly light weight but also felt sturdy enough to do a good job suctioning back up the water. I was amazed and disgusted with how much dirt came out of my carpets. I like how I could see the water and dirt being suctioned out of the carpets through the front on the cleaner. It also helped me to see when I needed to dry pass during the cleaning without the cleaning solution. The device was easy to push and pull, and turning it on and off to change water was easy. It pulled so much dirt out of the carpets and rugs. There were a few spots that I wish I had pretreated but it did reduce the dirty spots with just a few passes. I'm most excited about the ease of use because now I can keep up with cleaning my carpets and rugs and it won't take as much to keep them clean. It did not soak the floor underneath the rug and it was dry within an hour and the carpet I cleaned didn't have any residue feeling left in it. The parts were easy to unattach and clean out and air dry. Will be using frequently!

Lightweight cleaner for your heaviest jobs

With two dogs, and a toddler whose potty training is still... very much a work in progress, a carpet cleaner isn't a luxury, it's a necessity. The TurboClean™ Upright Carpet Cleaner has become an indispensable addition to my cleaning routine. We own a larger carpet cleaner from Bissell that comes with various modes and attachments, which works great! However, it is bulky - it takes up a ton of space and is a pain to lug around for quicker cleaning jobs. Bells and whistles are fantastic, but not every cleaning job calls for them! Enter the TurboClean™ Upright Carpet Cleaner. This machine saves on space without sacrificing quality. You can have the vacuum out of the box and ready to clean in five minutes or less. The instructions are easy to follow, and it comes with a small bottle of formula, so you can use it right out of the box. I love that there are no complicated settings. You press the trigger, push forward, pull back. Release the trigger, pull forward, pull back. Rinse and repeat until you're done! I fully cleaned our 8x10 rug with plenty of cleaning solution leftover. Because this machine is on the smaller side, it's easy to maneuver, and more convenient to store. The TurboClean still has plenty of power. After this year's Christmas party, we ended up with a mysterious red substance on our rug. Jello shot? Mixer? Dessert? I have no idea. I didn't even notice it was there until a week after our party. It was no issue for the TurboClean. It was gone in a single pass! My son and my dogs have finally met their match. The TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner is a stellar product! Set up is very simple, just a few clicks into place and you're ready to go. The size is perfect for my area rug and upstairs carpeting. Very easy to maneuver throughout cleaning, the machine glides on the wheels. As I used it, I watched the red (supposedly) washable kids paint disappear from the rug! I used a lot of different products to try and remove the stain, but nothing worked. The TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner knocked that stain out of the carpet with almost no effort. I truly want to use it everywhere I can! The only negative for this machine is the collection tank fills up and the solution tank empties very quickly. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this TurboClean Upright carpet cleaner.Upon unboxing the TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner, I found the setup to be incredibly straightforward. It was easy to assemble, and it even included a bottle of carpet cleaning solution to get started right away. Once set up, operating the cleaner was simple-just flip a switch to lower the vacuum for cleaning, and it glided smoothly across the carpet. The vacuum was highly maneuverable, allowing me to reach difficult corners and even clean under furniture with ease. One of the standout features is the built-in water release button located on the handle, which dispenses a solution mixed with water for a deep clean. I was truly impressed with how effective this feature was. Despite using a standard vacuum weekly, I was shocked by the amount of dirt pulled from my carpet. Even after cleaning just a quarter of the room, the dirty water revealed how much was still embedded in the fibers. The tank holds a full gallon of water, and I found that it didn't require a lot of cleaning solution. This allowed me to clean the living room and two bedrooms with some solution left in the tank. Another positive aspect was the ease of use; unlike my regular vacuum, which tends to leave my arms and hands fatigued, this cleaner was light enough to use without strain.One area that could be improved is the water release feature. When pressing the button to release the cleaning solution, a large amount of water dispenses at once. This can leave the carpet excessively wet, and it takes longer to dry. I had to be mindful of my children's safety, keeping them out of the room while cleaning to avoid them stepping on wet areas. On average, the carpet takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to dry completely after manually releasing the water.
