Great lightweight carpet cleaner

Used it for 3 bedrooms so far. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I wish the suction on the vacuum was stronger but it was really easy to use and it really did get some funk out of those carpets! Cord was a good length and it seems sturdy enough to hold up for a few years of use. It's quick to set up annd empty and refill, annd good for a busy mom! Overall pleased with this carpet cleaner that I received from the stellar product testing panel!

I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Luckily, as a home-owning, coffee-drinking, mother of two and a 70 pound dog, it was much needed. The best part about this cleaner is the size. We all have vacuums and other various cleaning machines that take up space. This cleaner is upright, lightweight, and slim in design. I have already found myself cleaning up coffee spills with it because I can take it out of the closet quickly and maneuver it easily; obviously, it is way more efficient than my stain remover spray and rags, too! Although it is small, it is mighty. I spot tested the cleaner on coffee stains, dirty paw prints, and another unknown mark on our living room carpet. These stains are now gone. Since then, I have used the machine to do our whole living room, making sure to empty the dirty water tank a few times! It's frightening how much filth we are living in, even when things appear clean! Best of all, it is easy to clean the machine itself! I have wasted money on trying to clean our carpets through professional cleaners only to have the stains appear again after a few days. I have waited to give this review and I am pleased with the results! I recommend you try this product before hiring anyone or buying a big, bulky machine!

Confused Carpet Cleaner

After receiving the Upright Carpet Cleaner as a part of the Stellar Products Testing Panel, the item in exchange for a review, I came to find that the package was missing a sample soap mentioned by the instruction book. Assembly was simple for this cleaner. Starting the cleaning process was relatively easy other than the counter intuitive power button location, the instruction book picture of placing the dirty water bucket into place in the vacuum's upright position (which was not as simple as pictured in the instruction book), and the spray function was not apparent on light colored carpet that did not change color when sprayed and wetted by the spray cleaner soap. Once underway in the carpet shampoo job for a high traffic carpet with 5 indoor pets treading in it all day, we understood the importance of a thorough dry vacuum before carpet cleaner use as recommended in the instruction book. Cat hair was stuck in the wheels and in the under body of this carpet cleaner after shampooing; you need to do a very thorough job of dry vacuuming beforehand. OOur TurboClean works well on new stains and recent dirt. We were not able to lift difficult or older stains with this product. The brush bristles could be more robust and adjustable deeper treatments. The cord is a joke, too short and too weak; one accidental swipe over this code with the cleaner would end the cord. I observed leakage from the cleaner for several minutes after cleaning as well; it does not come with a drip tray to catch any leaks after usage. This cleaner was light enough to be operated by a senior citizen, and was simple to break down for travel. As much as I wanted to like this product, it's stuck between a carpet shampooer and a stain remover. It is okay at both, far from amazing. This brand makes a nice spot cleaner already. While I can certainly appreciate a product that keeps you from getting in hands and knees to treat stains, this product seems more like a confused cross between carpet shampooer a

Powerful clean!

I received this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Right out of the box, it was extremely easy to assemble. It is lightweight and on the smaller side, which is perfect for my small apartment. I used this carpet cleaner to clean my area rug which my toddler had colored on with a marker. It worked to get out pretty much all of the stains (see attached picture), as well as to really clean the rug! The water that was collected in the dirty water tank was black! Apparently the rug really needed this! Using the cleaner is very easy and straightforward, although I will say that it would be nice if the on/off button was closer to the top. It would also be easier to maneuver if there would be a pivot so that the bottom could be turned easily. The way it is now, it's a little hard to turn or move over. Additionally, I wish it had more scrubbers to really deep clean the carpet more efficiently, although it does do a great job cleaning as it is. Cleaning the parts after use is very easy, all of the parts detach and reattach smoothly and just need to be rinsed and left to air dry. All in all, this cleaner is a small and simple to use, yet very powerful carpet cleaner, which left my carpets sparkling clean and my apartment smelling wonderful!

I received this carpet cleaner from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We have 2 cats who've been marking, & 2 young kids who have been kids, so we cleaned high traffic areas & smelly, tough-to-treat cat urine stains. My last carpet cleaner was from 10 years ago & worked well but was heavy, big & tricky to use. This carpet cleaner was easy to use- clean & dirty water containers clip in to place easily and intuitively. Easy to empty and refill. (Reservoirs are smaller so I stopped a lot to empty or refill but it was easy.) The cleaner is lightweight & intuitive. When moving slowly to clean carpets, it makes a difference to have it maneuver well; this started & stopped easily, turned well & was easy to recline & stand up. Some people may not like the smaller width (take longer to clean large spaces), but it was helpful to address corners/small spaces where cats marked. All cleaners I've used are hard to see the front panel to determine if it is still sucking up dirty water, & this one didn't magically solve that, so I had to crane to the side to see the front piece, but I think that's the design of all of these machines. The smart cleaning features (the front pulls off easily to remove debris & prep the cleaner after use) are game-changing to maintain the machine and my mood (it was nice to have intuitive & quick clean-up). I missed having accessories, but I used them infrequently. That speaks to the usability of this machine since I see myself wanting to use it regularly since it is nimble, powerful and intuitive to use. Seems to have powerful suction, which was appreciated. We bought the branded urine-specific formula; smelled good, seemed to work great at first. We'll need to repeat the carpet cleaning to really get into the deep stains our cats have made but it helped minimize some of the odor before we hosted family, so I was grateful for that!! I *really* like this nimble, intuitive, powerful carpet cleaner & foresee pulling it out to do small & large jobs!

We rent, and the carpet is awful. This little machine made a difference. The water it sucked up was disgusting and we regularly vacuum with a high powdered vacuum cleaner. This was easy to assemble, and way lighter in weight than I expected. It's not much bigger than a vacuum cleaner and it really cleans. The only downside is for those sensitive to fragrance - the solution's smell is strong and I needed to open the windows as we began to feel nauseous. I hope they come out with an unscented or natural cleaning solution! Overall it's worth it. I can't believe what just a couple passes pulled up. I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Small but mighty!

The Bissell TurboClean Upright Carpet Cleaner is a great machine for smaller spaces! The lightweight design allows for easy maneuvering but at the same time is sturdy enough that I'm confident this gadget will last for many, many years. I absolutely love that the clean and dirty water containers do not mix and thankfully are both easy to fill and empty. The only downside to this specific model is the cleaning solution tank is on the small side so only a small area can be cleaned in one fill up, I was able to clean a small dormer area upstairs where we keep litter boxes for the cats. So for our needs this carpet cleaner works perfectly! But for a full size room it would take multiple trips of filling up and emptying out. The Bissell solution has a wonderful smell, not over powering, reminds me of laundry detergent. Another big positive of this machine is the suction is very strong so the passes after washing suck up so much water that the carpet dried very fast which is always great. The carpet looked fluffier and smelled great after using it! If we have a spill or pet/child accident on any of the other carpeted areas this Bissell would be a go-to for getting it cleaned up, but I don't think I would use this for a whole room carpet clean just because of the smaller tank capacity. But the slim design makes it perfect for smaller spaces, and also an added bonus with the size is that it's easy to store. I received this product through Stellar product testing panel. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how great this carpet cleaner worked. I love how light weight it is so it is easy to transport from room to room and carry upstairs if I need too. It was very easy to maneuver and was not hard on my arms or wrist. Thus cleaner definitely cleaned up the messes better than u had expected. I have had issues with my animals peeing on the carpets lately and this got it all out plus some old stains that were there from when we had moved into the house almost 2 years ago. I like that it is so light weight and can easily clean up my pets messes. It does take a couple fill ups to do my sons small room but it was worth it for a clean carpet!
