Absolute worst carpet shampooer ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shampooer sucks up more water as you're moving forward then it does trying to suck up the water that you just laid down. Absolutely has some of the worst cleaning power I've ever seen on a shampooer. You can't even clean one bedroom without having to go refill it. I've tested it over and over as far as putting down shampooing liquid of walking slow speed of walking and fast speed and there's literally no difference in between how much water it lays down when you're going slow when you're going fast, when you go slow the shampooer sucks up the water before it can even get put down on the carpet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry you're not happy with your machine, but if you're concerned about the water and formula being suctioned up too quickly, just remove the dirty water tank while spraying the water and formula on the carpet. Hope this helps!

We used to have a huge and heavy Kirby that just sat in a corner because no one wanted to use it. This one is perfect, easy to clean and clean it does. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed using this carpet cleaner since you can somewhat break down the unit when space is somewhat limited. The lightweight design makes it easier to carry around to different levels of the house without straining your muscles. The half gallon tank cuts down on the time needed to stop and restart to refill with clean water to complete a room. The only two downsides no handheld attachment to clean stairs and smaller areas. Plus no easy way to remove brush roll to thoroughly clean the roll and area.

A few inconveniences, but works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just needed something small as we only have two small rooms with carpet and this seemed to be the best available. I wanted something with an automatic rolling brush and the small compact ones don't seem to have that feature. First off, putting it together was very simple. Was able to set it up and get started within just a few minutes. The vacuum came with two small sample bottles of cleaner. My only confusion was how much water and formula to put in, there are lines on the machine, but the bottle says to follow the manual and the manual gives a cup amount according to the bottle so we just went with what was on the machine. After going through a room I heard a flap sound and a loss of suction. So the machine automatically stops suctioning when the dirty water is full, nice feature. But, the clean water/formula bottle was not out of water and the dirty water hadn't reached the full line yet so it took a minute to figure out what the problem was. Doesn't seem to make much sense to have a full line higher than what is actually allowed in the container. Or to have a clean water fill line and not be able to actually use all of that water before the machine gets full. The power button. Whoever came up with the location of the power button should be fired. In no way could you say this button is convenient. It's small, almost all the way down the back of the handle, it's a flip switch but because it's covered to not get wet, you can't see which way to flip it. It's not convenient for your foot to flip it, or for you to reach down with your hand. The designer obviously has never used a vacuum before. This will prove my biggest gripe as you have to use this button frequently when cleaning. The only other thing I came across was that you can't see the front of the machine where the dirty water is getting suctioning up from the ground very well. I am guessing it is because of the compact style of the machine. The machine worked well and will do what we bought it for.
