Our white rug was disgusting from all the dust in Reno as well as the construction dust and debris our dog picks up when taking him out. The rug was GREY! It took about 20mins to thoroughly clean which was much sooner than expected and it came out looking BRAND NEW! This was by far the best purchase I made all year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carpet cleaner and the Bissell Pro Max Clean+Protect worked wonders on an impossible to clean stain on a light colored carpet. I mixed the shampoo per the markings on the machine tank, poured a small amount in a spray bottle to pre-treat the stain. I sprayed the stain and waited a few minutes, used the cleaner per the directions and am amazed at the results. Compared to replacing carpet, this is a solid return on investment.

Worked well on old stains

We recently bought a new house "as is" and the carpet was smelly and stained. I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was excited to try it out. The cleaner that comes with it smells great and helped get rid of pet odors. It also made a substantial difference in the brightness of high traffic areas. I like that it is lightweight and easy to maneuver compared to the house's central vacuum system. We have a cat, dog, and 3 kids so plenty of opportunities to clean the carpet, and it does the job well. The only con I found initially, was how often the tank had to be refilled during the cleaning process. However, now that I've done a deep clean and can use it to spot clean and maintain, the tank size should be fine. I would definitely recommend this as an affordable, well functioning carpet cleaner.

It seemed to clean better and it was so easy for me to use (I am old, like the rug haha). Even easier was the clean up!!! Price was great and I hope this little machine keeps up with me.

I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I had only had a small handheld cleaner before so I was excited to try the TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Upright Carpet Deep Cleaner. The timing was perfect as we were setting up my daughter's room to move in her brother and rugs definitely needed cleaning in the house. The positives: 1. the size is perfect for my small house. It's easy to store and maneuver through the tighter spaces in my condo. The size was even perfect for my stairs, which were filthy and came out fantastic! 2. The power brush clean was amazing. You can literally see the dirt coming right up out of the carpet and filling the tank. I do not have pets, but I do have carpets that have never been deep cleaned and the power brush really got to work getting up the dirt, especially in high traffic areas. 3. The size of the water/detergent tank was small enough not to make the machine top heavy, but big enough to be able to clean one carpeted room before needing to refill. 4. The tanks were easy to take on/off and did not make a mess when doing so. Cons: 1. More of a warning really, that the brush is extremely powerful and you need to be careful what kind of carpet you use it on. We tried an area bathroom rug in the beginning to get used to the machine, and the brush pulled up the weave & fibers. Our fault, as the directions did warn of this. 2. When I finished using the machine, I left it in place upright to go unplug it and every time, there was dirty water left on the area underneath the machine. This is unfortunate, as it was often on carpets I had just cleaned. I simply learned to put the machine on a towel when i was done using it, so as to avoid this problem. It wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me, but is something to be aware of. Overall, I was very pleased with this machine and was so happy with how the carpets came out that I even loaned it to my mother to do her carpets! This little machine got the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical about this product even working but it did the job. Ive been in my apartment for 2.5 years and never cleaned the carpet. Also as a mother of two there was stains from food, juice, slime and all that.. Gone.
