Lightweight and Powerful

I received this product to test for free as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and boy I am glad I did. As an owner of 3 dogs and 2 cats, plus the parent of 2 kids under 6, I have messy carpets ALL THE TIME. I get tired of pulling out the big, heavy carpet cleaner, but some messes are just too big for small spot cleaners. This cleaner works great on those medium to large-ish areas! It is lightweight, so I don't mind getting it in and out or up and down stairs. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be powerful enough for deep, old stains, but it worked really well on those too. It actually brought up so much junk that I went out and got a new vacuum because it was obvious my current one wasn't working well! But my all time favorite feature of this is how easy it is to clean after use. I have pet hair everywhere! With 5 animals, it doesn't seem to matter how often I vacuum there is always pet hair. With other deep cleaners the hair would get stuck in the nooks and crannies of the machine and I could not get it out. But this cleaner has multiple ways to lift and open all the different compartments - and the dirty water receptacle can be truly cleaned out! I don't feel like I'm pushing a dirty cleaner in an attempt to make things clean. I would highly recommend this cleaner to anyone with pets, stairs, or older carpet with ground in stains or high traffic areas.

Perfect for Parents of Young Children!

I'm a mother to two young children (1 and 3). As any parent knows, kids are messy. REALLY messy. Spilled milk here, play doh there, crumbs EVERYWHERE. Not only did I need a carpet cleaner that worked, I also needed something compact, easy to use, and easy to store. This upright carpet cleaner perfectly fit the bill. It does what it's supposed to do, getting out even the grossest spills, but also is lightweight, easy to assemble and use, and is super easy to store. I would definitely recommend this product to other parents (and even to non-parents!). Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum cleaner can Not handle hair left behind by a vacuum cleaner. And I have a good Oreck vacuum. I could handle cleaning the machine between rooms but it requires cleaning much more frequently than that.
