Burning smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this product works, it works well. However, after only one use, and 5 days after purchase, the machine now emits a strong burning odor that lingers for hours, and it fails to suck up water or rotate the brush. The machine is unusable after such a short period of time and use. I cannot return it, and I doubt I'm savvy enough to fix it if given the parts, so I suppose I'll just throw it away and waste more money on another cleaner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the cleaner today for the first time on an area of carpet in my basement "Ham Shack" which had gotten stained with a reddish substance (I suspect Georgia Rad Clay) when the foundation leaked during a recent thunderstorm. I'm very pleased with the results so far. Assembling it and then reading through the instructions was easy and I was off to the races on no time. I must tell that before I purchased the cleaner I'd had the foundation leak repaired, so the stain had been in the carpet for several months. The cleaned carpet looks just like the other non-stained areas.

I was on the verge of throwing a $400 area rug in the trash...my dogs had absolutely defiled it. It took a lot of work, but this machine has it looking like new. I'm so impressed and pleased with this purchase!

Amazing deep clean

I have a dog that sheds. I never feel like my carpet is very clean. I vacuum it all the time, and had a different carpet cleaner that I thought was getting it cleaner. When I tried the TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Upright Carpet Deep Cleaner it was a huge difference! It pulled up clumps of hair after I had just vacuumed. I didn't have any specific messes or stains to pull up, just overall cleaning. It was amazing! It is incredibly lightweight and easy to maneuver. I really felt like my carpet was clean after using this machine. The only downside is that the tanks are very small. The dirty water tank looks big, but the fill line isn't even half way up. It fills very quickly and you are emptying the dirty water tank often. The clean water tank is also small, and they don't empty/fill at the same time. If you have a smaller carpeted area to clean, this won't matter at all. I have a large den area to clean and I had to refill and empty several times. I also wish it had an upholstery brush and hose. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner!

Arrived yesterday and tried to use it today, clean water tank don't work so no water only suck up dust and then the belt started smoking ,threw away all paper and box because I was sure it would work now have to trash it and get another one more expensive this time with a warranty too bad couldn't get something on new one
