use for carpets. directions on the formula bottle and cleaner was different causing my bottle to melt. had to replace water bottle cost 1/2 price of system too much. the system also is destroying my rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was very excited to use this machine as it was a gift and my carpets were in need of a good shampooing. i have 2 short hair cats and 1 short hair dog, this product leaves behind gross clumps of dirt and pet hair even after 2 thorough passes from my (high quality) vacuum. i also feel as though it has a suction issue, it seems to not get very much of the water out of the carpet and my floors take forever to dry. this product is very easily dirtied and VERY hard to take apart and clean, i have to sit with a toothpick to get all of the muck out of the clear front as well as the red sprayers behind the brush. i would recommend passing on this option if you actually have pets (or messy kids)

Hi Lauren. If you're seeing clumps of hair it's because the deep cleaner brushes will lift deep down dirt, hair and debris from your carpet.
