It broke the first time we used it. Something inside melted the belt that turns the brushes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second carpet cleaner purchased from Bissell. First of all, the shipment and delivery is always incredibly fast. That alone deserves its own shout out. The first Bissell I had was amazing, I had it for about a year. I moved to a house with all hardwood, and gave it to a friend who needed it and she's still using it three years later! For reference, we have a Shiba Inu and she has 2 GSDs. That's a lot of hair! Granted that was the Pro Heat 2x model. It worked so well I decided to buy Bissell again but try this model. I am not disappointed! We now live in a house with carpet again, so that's why we made the purchase. So far I am loving it! I love how to cleans and how lightweight it is. We don't have a lot of carpet in this home so I went with a smaller model. If you're thinking about purchasing one of their carpet cleaning vacuums then I would definitely chose this one or the Pro heat 2x. #sweepstakes

Don't Buy the TurboPet Model 2085 - No Suction on High Pile

Good carpet cleaner

Since it is lightweight I would use it more often for spills and accidents. Although, I like to thoroughly clean my whole carpet every so often and I would use it for that too.

It's made and designed for pets and that's what the customer should expect to be cleaned. If you have other stains then you should upgrade to a cleaner that does that. As for pets it does an amazing job.

I liked best about the carpet cleaner that is really helped list dog urine from my basement carpet. My dog is older so has a lot of accidents and am always on my hands and knees scrubbing. I still did a little light cleaning by hand before, but the machine really really helped lift the stains. I also even tried it on an old couch, and it did a nice job cleaning!

Burning smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this product works, it works well. However, after only one use, and 5 days after purchase, the machine now emits a strong burning odor that lingers for hours, and it fails to suck up water or rotate the brush. The machine is unusable after such a short period of time and use. I cannot return it, and I doubt I'm savvy enough to fix it if given the parts, so I suppose I'll just throw it away and waste more money on another cleaner.
