[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted this cleaner to work sooo bad! But, it is absolutely terrible. It does well to dispense and suck up, but everytime it has a drain of mud that comes out of it on the left side, creating a streak of dirt with every stroke. Then it leaks in some way, dirt water or clean+formula because it doesn't always clip into place. I give it two stars because it does clean decent when it doesn't leak or leave a streak, but you have to clean it every two strides. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is junk. I used it 4 times and it doesn't spray out water anymore. Yes I cleaned it super good after using, took it apart, checked everything. I followed direction on filling it properly. Totally disposable.

Another with a belt issue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans great when it works! But..... The belt keeps rubbing against the side of the machine. It's melting the plastic and smells hot and you can tell it's close to breaking the belt. I've had this machine for under a year. I've cleaned two rooms. Now I can barely make it through 1/4 a room before the belt moves and stops.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really want to love it, but the leaks have to stop

I just bought this product, and as really excited to try it out in our home since we rent and can't pull off our carpets. The first time I used it (thank goodness this happened within the first 30 days from purchase), the clean water tank was slightly leaking before we even placed it on the machine. Then, as the machine was in use, it kept leaving behind balls of dirt, dust, and hair. I thought it was being sprayed from the cleaning solution, but no I noticed it was clumps of dirt from the dirty water tank. The machine was leaking from the bottom and coming out from the nozzle, spilling back on to my carpet which made the "not so dirty parts" dirty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I Would NEVER BUY THIS AGAIN

Brand new out out is the box it didn't suck up 20% OF the water it laid down. I returned that one to see if it was defective and purchased same cleaner. Exactly same problem with both.

The worst ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this carpet cleaner for a year now. I've been able to use it a total of five times. After four uses, I had to replace the belt. After the fifth use, I needed to replace the clean water reservoir. When it works, it works well but save your money and buy another brand that may last more than a hot minute.

Absolute worst carpet shampooer ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shampooer sucks up more water as you're moving forward then it does trying to suck up the water that you just laid down. Absolutely has some of the worst cleaning power I've ever seen on a shampooer. You can't even clean one bedroom without having to go refill it. I've tested it over and over as far as putting down shampooing liquid of walking slow speed of walking and fast speed and there's literally no difference in between how much water it lays down when you're going slow when you're going fast, when you go slow the shampooer sucks up the water before it can even get put down on the carpet.

Sorry you're not happy with your machine, but if you're concerned about the water and formula being suctioned up too quickly, just remove the dirty water tank while spraying the water and formula on the carpet. Hope this helps!
