[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought because it is smaller and lighter than my original Bissell. I needed something powerful to clean my area rugs as I have two larger dogs. This Lightweight Pet Carpet Cleaner is just what I needed. It works wonderful and has great suction to distract the dirt and grime. I Highly recommend this to anyone who lives in a small home, needs something lighter or has smaller jobs and cannot get on their hands and knees with the handheld Bissell. I don't normally write reviews but this was worth writing about. #sweepstakes

The machine works as advertised but the on off switch is in the un-handiest spot and the handle lock up lever is hard to find. Kind of cheaply made but I guess for the money its OK.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I only use the recommended Bissell cleaning solution, and that stuff it great! The machine cleaned my rug perfectly, and the Bissell solution also took care of the odor caused by my dog's 'mistakes'. Additionally, it pulled up lots of pet hair that my vacuum didnt..

So ordered this and I love it! It does what it says. A little large but powerful. It has taken all the stains out of the rugs I have. I am very pleased and happy I purchased it.

We had a difficult time finding a replacement belt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a difficult time finding a replacement belt & the "so-called" store brand equivalent (that was in stock) was the wrong size. & It even listed the exact model # of the cleaner on the back as the correct belt. Therefore, as soon as the belt breaks, this carpet cleaner is useless. I was almost impressed with the 1st use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
