Light weight and has decent power. Does a decent job on normal dirt and heavy stains. The power bottom is in a difficult place to get to. Very low on the handle and could be a challenge to reach. Releases to much fluid which will cause you to use up the cleaning fluid quickly. (Good for Bissell, not you). It does a good job sucking up that fluid however. Also fluid drips from some where. So areas you are not cleaning get water drops on it. Overall a decent cleaner for the price.

Easier to Use Than I Expected

I received this carpet cleaner through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and love it for cleaning up messes in our home. I have 2 little kids and a dog so we have regular spills, accidents, and dirt on our carpets and rugs. I haven't owned a carpet cleaner before and was anticipating that it would be a lot of work to operate, but it was actually not that difficult if you follow the directions. Set up and clean up was relatively easy, though like many vacuums, it's a good idea to clean out the bottom/brushes when you are done, especially if you have lot of hair that collects on your floor. We tend to have darker carpets and rugs, but you can tell that it's cleaning deeply by the dirty water it produces. I expected it to take longer to dry, but it dried fairly quickly. It is lighter than I expected so it's not difficult to carry up and down stairs. Overall, great cleaner that I hope to use regularly in my house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this carpet cleaner for about a year and a half and did not have to use it much. However the belt did frequently break which is not a hard fix but inconvenient. The clean water tank would leak like crazy and the floor would always be soaked after using it the suction is not good on it. We took very good care of it and cleaned it deeply when we used it. I wish it would've been better but I do recommend saving your money on this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This deep cleaner is the best. My husband painted our interior walls, and we had some paint stains in our carpet that I thought would not come out. But this cleaner got them out with ease and has our carpet looking like new. I had a deep cleaner before, but it was hard to maneuver. My 5yo son took this one and cleaned the carpet in his own room with no problem. Everything is so easy to do. There is no mixing or measuring needed. You just use the fill lines on the cleaner itself to add the cleaning solution and water. It's easy to remove and replace the tank too. Even though I received the Bissell TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Upright Carpet Deep Cleaner through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I would recommend it to anyone who has children, pets, or a husband like mine. :-)
