[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started out with a small handheld Bissel Rug cleaner, it was a pain because I constantly had to bend. We just got a puppy and I was tired. So ordered this and I love it! It does what it says. A little large but powerful. It has taken all the stains out of the rugs I have. I am very pleased and happy I purchased it.

We had a difficult time finding a replacement belt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a difficult time finding a replacement belt & the "so-called" store brand equivalent (that was in stock) was the wrong size. & It even listed the exact model # of the cleaner on the back as the correct belt. Therefore, as soon as the belt breaks, this carpet cleaner is useless. I was almost impressed with the 1st use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have both a black and yellow lab who track in dirt, have the occasional accident and leave hair everywhere. Great Pet Upright Carpet Deep Cleaner

This is a great Carpet Cleaner. It is very lightweight which is great when you're hauling it all over the place - it's also smaller so it's easier to store in a closet. The instructions for the water and shampoo are very easy to follow and do, they are labeled on it. I also found it easy to clean after I was done using it. I vacuumed some of the rooms that I used it in and I was surprised how much dog hair and dirt it picked up. It has great suction and leaves the carpet so clean. One of the rooms I cleaned I forgot to vacuum, I guess I got too excited to use it, and the dog hair kept getting clogged in the front suction plug so I had to keep stopping and clean it out. So I would recommend vacuuming BEFORE your use the carpet cleaner for the best clean. Overall, I thought this was a great carpet cleaner, my only complaint is that I wish it had a wand, so you could do the stairs or bring it out to the car and clean all the dirt and dog hair. Also, I was given this carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I gave this cleaner 3 stars because overall it did the job. I do feel that my carpet is cleaner than before. I just don't like that it took long to dry. I would definitely give it a .5 of a star but there isn't an option for that. What I liked most about it was that it isn't bulky and heavy. Didn't take long to assemble the cleaner and it wasn't as noisy as others I've used in the past. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carpet cleaner!
