[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to love this carpet cleaner. It is small and lightweight. I bought it because my elderly dog is having accidents. I've had it less than 2 years and I've had to replace to belt and the plastic piece around it. This is my 3 rd time replacing it. I start smelling burning plastic. The belt is fine but splits due to it hitting sharp plastic pieces. I'm not sure if this is a flaw of my machine or a flaw in the design. However, it's bad enough that I'm shopping for a new carpet cleaner. Or I have to have a belt and an extra plastic piece on hand at all times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just purchased this new Carpet Cleaner my third one as they do last a long time but now needed a new one. I must say a great improvement over the years you have made. It is small so I can handle it just perfect and my golly this cleans like you wouldn't believe!!! I have never had my rugs this clean. Thank You! Paulene

We're renting a house right now, I don't think the carpets had been cleaned in at least seven years, and the previous tenant had a small child who left mystery stains all over the upstairs carpet. This cleaner was really easy to assemble - I just had to snap a few parts in place and the instructions were very clear. The machine is smaller than other carpet cleaners I've seen and it stores very easily in a closet. It's lightweight and very easy to maneuver. Using this carpet cleaner was so easy! If you can vacuum you can use this with ease and I was really impressed with the cleaner that came with it - it smells very fresh and pleasant but not overwhelming. Mystery stains came up with ease and our grungy rental carpet now looks brand new. I was also very impressed with the suction. As the manual suggests, I vacuumed the carpet first but when I was done there were little clumps of cat hair left behind that the vacuum couldn't get. A quick vacuum after the carpet dried and I was all set! Seeing the carpet cleaner pull that up makes me feel confident that I got a deep clean. Cleaning the machine after use is also very easy, let it air dry and then stow in the closet. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to use and review this great carpet cleaner.

We loved the TurboClean Powerbrush Pet Upright Carpet Cleaner! Our carpets can look rough after our dog lounges on them, and with a baby in the house we needed something that truly cleans. This carpet cleaner left our carpets incredibly clean (and was so satisfying to watch the dirt and grime get lifted!) It was easy to use and has been a staple in our cleaning routine. I purchased this to replace the larger model that had stopped working after several years. I was reluctant at first because I wasn't sure it would be as powerful, but I was wrong! It did a great job cleaning my carpet and is much lighter in weight making it easier to use. It's a bit smaller but gets the job done perfectly.
