I'm so disappointed that this is specified for pets and there is no handheld attachment for doing furniture. It's ridiculous to have to store and fill and clean another whole separate machine for that! What a pain! For a carpet cleaner it's works great, doesn't over-saturate, etc but I wouldn't buy this again 100% BECAUSE of not being able to clean the furniture with it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our senior doggy has many accidents and it's been really difficult to scrub the carpets clean with a brush and bucket each time. This works like a vacuum with easy to fill hot water and soap. We go over the spots a couple times, less than 60 seconds and it's all clean. We have low rugs, not sure how well this product would be on high carpets, but we just love it!

This is the second one I have purchased, I let my best friend use my original one and she asked if she could keep it. (Smile) I said ok but consider it your birthday gift. She really loved this carpet cleaner as well. Love this carpet cleaner and every product I have ever purchased from Bissel. In fact, I only buy Bissel products now.
