I have 2 huskies and a black cat so i need to shampoo at least once a month. This is the perfect machine for what I need. I am so happy I bought this.

Better than the original model

I had an older model of the bissell carpet cleaner. I really like the new model better. It seems to clean better and leaves less water behind. I was able to use it on my thick area rug without the water seeping through to the hard wood underneath! The fill container does not seem to leak like the original one I had did. The only downside is that the power chord is on the short side. That is still not a reason for me to take away a star. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the ease of use and cleaning power of this carpet scrubber. I received this product for free as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel in return for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two bedrooms and one hallway with carpeting. I also have two small old dogs who have occasional accidents. Having this unit means I don't have to rent a carpet cleaner. Although it is lightweight, it seems well constructed. It is best used for smaller areas as the tanks are smaller than a full sized machine. It is easy to fill and empty the tanks. It cleaned my carpet to my satisfaction.

My family and I received the TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Upright Carpet Deep Cleaner for free as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was pretty stoked, because although we don't have a cat or dog, we do have a potty training toddler, and that can be just as bad sometimes. We live in an apartment, so keeping our carpets clean is high on our priority list (we really want that security deposit back!) and this carpet cleaner took out old baby food stains I thought for sure were set in to the carpet. It also quickly and easily took the smell of pee out of my toddler's room, which I thought would never happen! It was incredibly easy to assemble and disassemble the cleaner for use and cleaning (per the instructions). Maneuvering it around our shoebox apartment was a breeze. It wasn't complicated, didn't take a long time to clean the carpets, didn't leave too much water behind, and left everything smelling fantastic. We love this cleaner!

Great Cleaning Power, But Beware of the Wetness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used the Bissell PowerForce™ PowerBrush Pet Advanced Carpet Cleaner on an area rug. While the rug got very clean, I encountered significant issues. The floor around the rug ended up wet with soapy water, requiring mopping. Additionally, the entire rug remained damp to wet. The wetness around the rug was arguably due to improper use, as the edge of the cleaner should not go beyond the edge of the rug. This instruction was not in the user manual, so I had to discover it on my own. I also found that the edges and especially the corners of the rug got a lot wetter, probably due to the fact that when you reach the end and then start moving in the opposite direction, the loss of momentum causes slowing. Cleaning patterns that might take you around the perimeter before going back and forth also contributed to this issue. Some of these problems might be mitigated with better user knowledge and experience. It seems to work best if you go pretty fast, as attempting to move slowly, like one might do with a vacuum cleaner, tends to produce more wetness. The device cleans really quickly and at a high volume of steam. The entire tank of water was emptied surprisingly fast, and I would have liked the option to turn down the flow rate to facilitate slower and more methodical movement of the cleaner. Realizing that this would cause water damage to the underlying hardwood floor if left unattended, I had to prop up the rug on top of furniture and run fans underneath it to fully dry the rug and floor. This was a time-consuming and inconvenient process. Given this experience, I would be concerned about using this cleaner on wall-to-wall carpet, as there's no way to dry underneath it, potentially causing water damage to the substrate material. Overall, while the cleaner is effective, the potential for water damage makes it a risky choice for certain flooring types. Better user guidance could significantly improve the experience

Tried to clean the carpet in the hallway, ended up with smelly carpeting because the unit did not work as it should and it was too late to take it back and return it for another one. Taking it back first thing in the morning and buying something else!
