[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking at this BISSELL Carpet Cleaner for over a year now. And after a few talks with my husband. We decided that getting this carpet cleaner would be cheaper than renting one. The plus side is it is ours and we can clean the carpets whenever we need to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not very happy with this right now- I'm still uncertain if I am not getting the dirty water tank set up correctly, or if it just pours out cause it's the machine having a malfunction- but it does not get the water up and keep it up... the tanks are sooo much smaller than my last Bissell cleaner I'm not sure I like that as much as I expected I would it took three tanks of water/solution To clean an 8x10 rug.... my proheatt cleaner didn't take one tank.... I wish I had just replaced with another proheat

More than sufficient in a pinch

I recently tried this Turbobrush Powerclean Pet upright carpet deep cleaner made specifically for pets. I myself have 5 cats as well as 2 children so my carpet was in dire need of TLC. I was gifted this machine to try from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I was incredibly eager to test it out. First and foremost its incredibly light weight, although the machine is light to tote around it is sturdy and it does not feel cheaply made. The instructions are fairly straight forward and it only took me a couple minutes to figure out where each part went. Bonus points for easy and fast set up, as well as very few parts to keep track of. I used the machine on my living room, only leaving outlying areas untouched. I wanted a good comparison for after. My living room, is where my children eat /we spend a majority of my time. It is a heavily trafficked/soiled area. My carpet contained food stains, slime, to mysterious animal spottage. I was ready to get my carpet back to looking its best. It was easy to fill and add the cleaner. It was very easy to operate once I got the hang of the spray function and it took out 99 percent of the stains that I had a problem with. Including the huge chocolate milk stain that had sat there for about a week before. I did have to stop a few times to clean the machine of hair as it would drop off from behind when i would move. Mind you i have five felines. I would have liked to see a bigger suction area for the hair as the small slat it has to suck up the water and product would get clogged. But it did what it said even better. My carpet looked revived. I was incredibly impressed with the results. It dried overnight and i only had to go over a few harder deep set stains a couple of times before they lightened and disappeared to my satisfaction. It was easy to dump the dirty water.All in all the multiple advantages outweighed my slight annoyances with the hair.I would recommend this to anyone who wants a fast and efficent powerhouse.

Perfect for stain removal

This is a great little carpet cleaner. I was a bit skeptical that it would remove my stubborn stains, but I am more than happy to say I was wrong. It did take quite a few passes, but it fully removed one stain and almost entirely removed the other (which was a tea stain, so I'm not surprised). The tanks for clean and dirty water are fairly small, so if you're planning to regularly clean whole rooms, you may want something bigger. But if, like me, you're trying to remove individual stains, then this is perfect. The only note I have is this: for some reason, it leaves behind some clumps of dirt/fibers along the edge of where it cleaned. Simple enough to gather up and throw away, but admittedly odd. Overall, I am pleased and would recommend that this for cleaning up after messy kids. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review, as a member of the Stellar product testing panel. All thoughts are my own.
