Clean carpet

Bissel Hydrosteam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved the Bissel Revolution Hydrosteam! I have two dogs in my house and had several areas that needed some attention and the Hydrosteam did the trick with ease! It was also very easy to put together and a breeze to clean. I used the handheld feature for some small furniture and it worked wonderful for that as well. All stains are gone and things look almost new. I would certainly recommend this product for anyone in search of a new carpet cleaner!

It’s lightweight, easy to use, and the design feels modern and practical. The HydroSteam Technology worked wonders on tough messes like coffee, pet stains, and tracked-in dirt; it lifted them with minimal effort. I also loved the built-in Pretreater; it helped loosen stains right before deep cleaning and really boosted results. The 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool was super convenient for stairs, couches, and pet beds, making there no need to swap attachments or deal with extra cleanup. It’s a powerful all-in-one machine that’s made a big difference at home.

Easy to use steam cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel Revolution Hydro's team cleaner is easy to assemble and use. They make is simple to know exactly how much formula and water you need by providing lines on the water basin. It easily cleaned hard to remove stains from my couch using the nozzle. Also cleaned our carpet well. Only downside is it is rather large and bulky.

A Must Have for Dogs and Toddlers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a dog that sheds a lot. I also have two toddlers. So, my carpets and rugs get pretty nasty. I don’t think I realized how yucky they were until after cleaning them with this. The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam helped me clean up dirt, dog hair, accidents from the dog, spills, and even things like stuck on fruit snacks. I also used it on my stairs and couches. I liked how easy it was to use this and I like the look of it as well. I would definitely recommend it.

Carpet Cleaner for Mid Level Jobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam as part of a Stellar Product Panel. The unit was easy to setup and worked great for mid-level messes. The unit uses one tank for both solution and water so there isn't an extra "rinse" function like other units I've seen out there. While this may seem convenient, it did seem to leave a residue on the carpet. The unit also held less capacity than other cleaners I've used in the past and didn't get deep into the carpet for those extra colorful messes the kids leave behind. Still, I would possibly recommend this unit if you're looking for a simple solution for regular carpet or rug cleaning. It's relatively light weight and easy enough that I was about to cover a lot of ground quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Game Changer

From the first use, I noticed how much faster and more efficient it made deep cleaning feel. It glides smoothly, the controls are intuitive, and the overall design is sleek and modern—definitely a step up from bulkier carpet cleaners I’ve used in the past. It’s easy to store, and I actually don’t dread pulling it out for quick or deep cleans.
The HydroSteam Technology really impressed me, especially when dealing with sticky spills and ground-in messes on carpets and area rugs. I used it on a dried juice stain and some tracked-in mud from the dog—both were gone with minimal effort. The steam function seems to loosen and lift grime that would normally require a lot of scrubbing, which made cleaning feel less labor-intensive.
One standout feature for me was the built-in Pretreater. Being able to spot-treat tough stains right before deep cleaning saved time and helped prevent me from having to go over areas repeatedly. I used it on an old coffee stain and some pet messes, and it worked surprisingly well—almost like giving each stain a targeted boost before the main cleaning.
The 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool was a game changer for above-floor cleaning. It made tackling stairs, couch cushions, and even the dog’s bed much more convenient. I liked that it was all integrated—no switching between tools or lugging around separate attachments. And the self-cleaning function meant I wasn’t left with a mess after cleaning, which is a big win.
Overall, the Bissell HydroSteam made my cleaning routine more thorough and efficient without adding complexity. It’s a smart, powerful tool that handles real-life messes with ease.

Great for Deep Cleans But Too Heavy for Everyday

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with how well this cleaned our rugs. My toddler dropped a pink marker, which my dog then chewed and smeared all over our beige dining room rug. The steam attachment got it out, and I think the pretreater helped too. I finished the job with the larger steam vacuum, and honestly, the rug looked brand new.
I loved the attachment tool — it made it so much easier to clean our couch, which my dog basically lives on. The wheels on the machine also make it easier to move around, which is nice given the weight. And the water tanks are one of my favorite parts: super easy to fill and clean, with a one-click in and out design and just two pieces to deal with. We had a different cleaner before, and the dirty water filter was such a pain — this is way more user-friendly.
That said, it is heavy. I’m not dragging it out weekly — maybe once a season or for big messes. It also goes through water fast, and I found it a bit tricky moving from one rug to another without getting steam on our hardwood floors. One small annoyance: the clear top cover kept popping off when it bumped into walls or rug edges.
All in all, it’s great to have for bigger cleanups, but probably not something you’ll use on the regular. If you’ve got a lot of rugs, kids, or pets, it’s a solid backup to keep in the closet for when things get messy.
