Tough on stains

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had low expectations for this machine, as I haven’t been impressed with carpet cleaners in the past. I was so surprised at how well it pulled up very old stains in my couch and carpet! The steam function was directly responsible for pulling up not only the spots in my carpet, but layers of dirt I didn’t realize were there. But the winner on the machine is the 2 in 1 tool—-I loved being able to get into the crevices of my couch. It was especially effective at cleaning the arms. The only drawback was drying the water tank. The hole to drain water is pretty small, so it took a long time to dry.

Pretty neat feature not seen elsewhere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was related to see the steam feature after my five year old dropped her sandwich in the floor. Of course, it was a pbj, and the jelly got all over. The steam feature made easy work of the stain, removing all traces of stickiness. It was also helpful for an older gum mark. While it didn't get rid of it entirely, it took a good chunk out and removed the stickiness.
It was super simple to clean. It comes with a tool to help get the gunk out of the vacuum piece. Pop out the compartments, give them a rinse, and pop them back in. Cleaning it entirely took less than five minutes total.
It is heavy, but still easy to maneuver. I do very small sections at a time, and I had no difficulties keeping it where I wanted it

Best Wet Dry Vacuum Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam Wet Dry Vacuum. I have to say that I was honestly blown away by how well it worked. We have a dog and 3 small children. There’s stains in our rugs that have been there for years. I tried everything to remove them with no success. This vacuum literally removed all those stains. It’s like I have brand new carpets again. Now I look forward to cleaning my carpets because they actually look clean when I’m done. So if you haven’t tried this Vacuum yet I suggest you run, not walk and get yourself one today. You’ll be so glad you did and your carpets will definitely thank you for it.

Exceeds Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam exceeded my expectations in every way. We took the machine to a home we just bought. The carpets hadn’t been cleaned in years. I found the dirtiest carpet I could and put the cleaner to work. I was blown away by the performance. Dirt and stains that had been set in for years came right out. Although the carpet was very old. It almost looked new again.
The Pretreater feature was the ticket. Being able to pre-treat the tough stains made all the difference in my results. The machine is easy to use, maneuver, and clean when I am done. I would 100% recommend this product to a friend.

GREAT but a tad complicated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don’t get me wrong, the Bissell Hydrosteam is AMAZING at what it does, but there are many parts to it when it comes to putting it together, cleaning the parts, and putting them back together. This cleaner definitely gets down in there and cleans REALLY well! I have multiple pets and a child, I knew my furniture and rugs were dirty but the dirty water was GROSS!!!!
The built-in pretreat DEFINITELY helped get the grossness loose and made cleaning so much easier than usual.
The self-cleaning tool was super helpful. Since there is a ton of pet hair all over my house, I am constantly needing to “de-hair” the vacuum, and all I had to do with this was hit a button!
The design is sleek and looks very high end!
This will DEFINITELY be getting used all the time!!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Powerful Efficient and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine was so amazing. It is big and powerful but not intimidating to use. It has such a sleek and sophisticated design! I was pretty much able to figure it out without looking at the directions. My first order of business was to clean my living room area rug, in my primary living room, and as a no shoes inside family it was alarming and disgusting to see what came out. The steam activated quickly, though big- it glides so well over the carpet.
It was so so shocking... this unit feels like it is professional grade and feel very lucky to have found it!
I also LOVE how this unit doesn't make you store all the accessories on the unit! They provide a nice bag that i can store in my cleaning closet! It gets frustrating when you keep knocking off the add on accessories
I would recommend this to a friend!

A must have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely impressed with this machine from start to finish It made my entire cleaning routine faster and much more efficient The design is sleek and modern and I appreciated how easy it was to move around even in tighter spaces
The HydroSteam Technology was a game changer for tackling tough sticky messes especially on high traffic carpeted areas and my kids playroom rug It cut through dried on stains and grime with ease leaving the fibers refreshed and looking like new I used it on a mix of messes including muddy footprints juice spills and even pet accidents and it handled them all effortlessly
The built in Pretreater feature was also incredibly helpful I liked being able to target stubborn stains before deep cleaning without needing extra tools or spray bottles It definitely made a difference on older spots that I had struggled with using other machines
Lastly the two in one self cleaning tool was super convenient I used it to clean the stairs couch cushions and even my dogs bed and it worked beautifully It felt like a complete deep cleaning system in one machine and the fact that it helps clean itself was a nice bonus I highly recommend it

Amazingly effective and easy to use and clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never wanted an upright rug/upholstery cleaner because the ones I had seen were too cumbersome and not worth taking up the precious space in my house. But I was very pleased with how the Bissell HydroSteam Revolution was so easy to use and intuitive.

It certainly did a great job with my high traffic rugs: in my office, dining room and hallway runner. We have two large dogs and two kids and despite having a no-shoe policy in our house, I'm always amazed at how dirty our rugs get. And I really try to clean regularly!
I've used this several times and I still get black water in the dirty water tank, which shows how effective the machine is.

Easy Maintenance
I also liked that there aren't too many pieces to clean after the fact, as I've experienced with other vacuums and cleaners. Just a few pieces that are easy enough to rinse out and dry before putting into storage.

Room for Improvement
The only disappointment was that I was not able to get the 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool to work. I tried several times, read the instructions, troubleshot, and I could not get the water to come through the hose. I really wanted this to work as I have a handheld/portable upholstery cleaner and would love the opportunity to consolidate cleaning tools.
