[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. Not only was it super easy to put together, but it was also easy to use and very intuitive. One of my favorite things is how light it is. It is not bulky at all and extremely easy to move around the house as needed. It didn't feel like I had to lug it around, like other machines I've used. There are three modes: Pretreat, Max Mode, and Quick Dry. Using these modes has removed extremely tough stains from my carpet—like dirt from foot traffic and pet messes—and it cut drying time in half. The pretreat mode would loosen the stains and then followed up with max mode, it was like the stain never existed at all.
Truly, this machine was so easy to use and even easier to clean. I have owned previous machines that ended up sitting in a closet rather than being used because I would dread having to clean my carpet and then clean the machine. That is not the case here. It truly makes life easier as I can clean the carpet and then the machine basically cleans itself. I have two small kids and a dog, and this cleaner has been life-changing. My carpets and furniture haven't looked this good in years!

First time steam cleaning and hooked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I had never used a steam cleaner before, so we were both pretty excited to try out the HydroSteam. Since we have a dog who sheds (a LOT) and now a baby, there are lots of messes to clean up! The first thing we wanted to try was our large area rug in the living room which gets the most traffic out of all our rugs. It’s also where the dog loves to lay, so there are spots that are just super dingy. When I tell you we were astounded at the sight of the nearly black water that appeared from the first cleaning…our mouths were wide open. It was easily one of the most satisfying things! The rug looked like new again. We are excited to try it again on the rugs and will soon plan to try it on our daughter’s carpeted room! The second thing we used it on was our upholstered dining chairs. These chairs have been bothering me for years because they’re a light beige color and pretty much ALL of them have food stains/oil stains. My husband went to town on the chairs with the upholstery attachment and I thought the stains were too set-in to remove. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they lifted! I’m going to regularly use it on the chairs just because of how simple and effective it is. The last thing we cleaned with the attachment tool was our dog’s bed. It’s pretty large and always looks like it needs to be cleaned haha, so we were excited to try it out. It was SO simple to clean and it came out looking so good! Overall, we loved how easy it was to use the machine- the instruction manual was simple and easy to follow. We’re honestly excited to bust it out again and use it on practically anything we can!

Looks and cleans like high end machine

The weight and feel of the machine itself far surpasses an older version of the Bissell carpet cleaner. It even looks pretty!! The first thing I cleaned was my couch, using the self cleaning wand attachment. I was amazed and horrified by the amount of dirt that was removed from my couch. The suction is strong and my couch wasnt left completely soaking wet, just slightly damp and so so clean. The self cleaning tool? Brilliant! It was so fast and easy for me to clean the attachment - without needing to stop and take anything apart or dump anything.
I run a daycare out of my home and have kids as well, so I am no stranger to dirty, sticky messes. The way this machine cleaned my couch so beautifully tells me it will be able to handle any mess I come across in the future, especially with its hydrosteam technology!
This machine isn't one that just looks and feels high end - it truly cleans like a high end machine!

Game changing vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the HydroSteam for a few weeks now, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for cleaning up messes around the house. I mainly use it for carpets and area rugs because we have pets and kids, so spills and sticky messes happen constantly. It handled dried juice, mud, and whatever mystery stuff ends up in the rug without much effort.
The steam really helps loosen things up, so I’m not stuck scrubbing forever. I’ve tried it on both thick and thinner rugs and it worked great on both. Some stains needed a couple passes, but overall it’s way more effective than other cleaners I’ve used in the past.
If your rugs take a beating like mine do, this thing is 100% worth it.

Spots Gone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the HydroSteam! I have used it on both really gross car seats and built in rug stains and it worked like an absolute dream. I never thought the toddler induced stains would come out of the rug but it got out an old spaghetti stain like it was nothing. It is super easy to use, just like a regular vacuum and the handheld is great for the tougher stains or the car. The pretreater was great at loosening up the stains. It also has an easy spray option which means I’m not having to get down and spray the carpet first which was great. It looks just like a regular and is the same size too which makes it nice for storage and not an eye sore. All in all, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who had carpet, rugs, or toddlers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a heavy duty steam cleaner that did a good job cleaning the rugs in my house. It was easy to set up and operate, but is pretty big and cumbersome to move around. It’s heavy but has wheels to move from room to room. It does leak water when rolling it, which was somewhat inconvenient having to go back and wipe up where I rolled it. That being said it did a great job on my rugs. I had no idea how filthy they really were! I did have to elevate the rugs to get them to fully dry out. They were saturated to the point that the liners and floor underneath were wet. Without ventilation and elevating the rugs this could have caused issues. I would still recommend this cleaner based on how much dirt it pulled up from my rugs.

Loved the steam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three young children and a new puppy so I clearly could benefit from a good home carpet cleaning system. Not only do I have stains from spills, but I have a lot of potty accidents from the puppy. I’ve used the Bissell revolution HydroSteam several times now on my rugs, carpet, and couch, and it has been so nice to see my rugs go back to how they looked when I first bought them. I kind of thought one stain would never come out, but this machine almost took it completely away. And there is no urine smell from the dog anymore! I think the steam and pretreater function definitely helps with that. It was easy to use and put together. I didn’t have to clean too many components, which is kind of annoying with at home carpet cleaners. It wasn’t too loud and while it is bulky, it’s definitely worth it.

Ease of Use:
Setup was quick and straightforward. The instructions were easy to follow, and I was up and running in just a few minutes. The design made it easy to maneuver around furniture and into corners.

Cleaning Performance:
This cleaner was a total lifesaver! It tackled stubborn messes like dried slime and pet accidents with no problem. We just got a new puppy, so having something powerful enough to handle those kinds of messes was essential — and it absolutely delivered. The carpet looked refreshed and smelled much cleaner afterward.

Dry Time:
The only downside was that the carpet felt quite saturated after cleaning. It took longer to dry than I expected, which meant keeping foot traffic off those areas for a while.
