So in love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely one of the more advanced carpet cleaners I've used because of the steam technology + a upright design.
With two young kids, I usually deal with sticky messes or stuff that's embedded in the carpet that I can't scrub out - this takes it right out!
Some things that I'm loving -
1. The "Steam Pretreat" mode uses a concentrated blast of steam to loosen stubborn, sticky messes (like syrup) before I even begin the full wash. So it break downs stains really well.
2. It comes with three different settings so you can use the one that you want at different times.
There's 'Max Clean', which is the most powerful mode. There's 'Steam Pretreat' for localized, tough stains. There's 'Quick Dry', which is a lower-moisture setting that allows carpets to dry in about 30 minutes, which is excellent for high-traffic areas.

3. The dual "PowerBrushes" feature 12 rows of bristles. This high level of agitation helps pull up pet hair/your hair and dander that my other vacuums often miss.
4. This is easier to clean as compared to my other vacuums. It comes with "EZ Clean" brush roll cover that is removable, allowing me to rinse out hair and debris from the machine itself.
5. For an upright machine, it is surprisingly easy to navigate around furniture, and the LED lights on the foot help reveal stains in darker corners.
Things to keep in mind -
1. If you're cleaning a large room, you have to fill in the clean tank and empty the dirty tank more than once, but that comes with the territory of steam/water cleaning.
2. It's slightly heavy but with all it provides, I don't mind it.
3. If you do a deep/max clean, your carpet with take sometime to dry. Worth it.
All in all, I absolutely love how it steams and scrubs at the same time. My set-in stains are gone and my carpet looks new. I don't have any stains/black spots anymore.

Super Cleaning Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with the overall cleaning power of the vacuum. It was able to clean up a variety of messes in all areas of my home. It was easy to figure out and provided excellent cleaning results.
Sticky, stuck-on messes were no match for the power this vacuum brought to the table. I learned that I could depend on it to not only do the job, but do so in a complete and thorough way.
The steam power function is such a great addition to the overall cleaning power it provides. It eliminated the need for set in stains to have to soak in cleaning solution forever. It helped the mess come right up with little to no fuss or frustration. I really loved that it used real steam instead of it just being a cheap marketing ploy.
The self-cleaning cycle was great and did such a good job. Other products I've used were such a hassle to clean because they required you to completely disassemble and painstakingly clean every piece. This made it so much easier.
Overall, this product is such a lifesaver, especially if you have kids or pets you're wrangling every day. Definitely recommend!

Sleek and effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam was impressive from the moment I opened the box. I love the rose gold color featured on the handle and base, and it took less than 5 minutes to assemble, as it was very intuitive and easy to put together. Who knew a carpet cleaner could be so aesthetically pleasing! Aside from the look, most importantly, this bad boy is incredibly effective and simple to use. I used it at two houses while moving, cleaning several rooms and area rugs without issue. The included hose and attachments are an added bonus, as this is also great for spot cleaning and upholstery; the rocker in my son’s room looks brand new after cleaning. The overall cleaning power is a 10/10. The Steam Power function is unique and helpful for cleaning up sticky toddler (and adult) messes. The self-cleaning cycle simplified the clean up process during a very busy and chaotic move and was such a nice feature compared to other upright carpet cleaners I’ve used that did not self-clean and the process was much more tedious to clean out the water tank. This machine is multifunctional and essentially replaces a few other tools, making it our new go-to carpet cleaner. I gave 4 stars overall simply because I have not had enough time to assess the longevity of the product. Highly impressed so far!

Easy to clean and tackles tough stains

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tested out the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam on our over 2000 square foot home that is mostly carpet. I ended up being so impressed with the cleaning capability and easy of cleaning the machine that I cleaned every carpeted room in my house (4 bedrooms, a hallway, and three living spaces). The cleaner has a pretreat steam option that I used on long standing stains in order to remove them. I was able to get a green stain that has been stuck in our carpet for months out. I appreciated the pretreat option as well as the self cleaning cycle. My favorite part of this cleaner compared to others that we have used is how easy it was to clean. The dirty water tank empties easily and does not get dirt and grime stuck in impossible to reach sections. In a home of multiple children that gets messes frequently, this has turned into our go to carpet cleaner due to its efficacy as well as ease of cleaning.

The Power of Steam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I wound up with this HydroSteam cleaner, I already had another regular carpet cleaner (without a steam function), that I thought I was happy with but figured I’d give this one a try….. One cleaning session later, this one is staying in my cleaning arsenal and the other one has been donated!
As a mom of boys, 3 dogs, 1 cat, and a ranch wife (IYKYK), in a house with too much carpet… this HydroSteam is a must! We have lighter carpet, and it was rough. I cleaned it regularly with my old carpet cleaner, but I had just accepted the fact that there were going to be spots on our carpet that would never come out. This machine changed that, and I truly think the steam power made all the difference! The dual steam feature is unbelievable handy. The fact that you can pre-treat sticky stains is huge, and absolutely works! The suction power made the drying time after cleaning the carpets about half of what it would take with my old carpet cleaner, and the carpets felt noticeably more clean after using this HydroSteam cleaner than with my old one as well. We were at the point of starting to talk about replacing the carpets, but having this HydroSteam cleaner will push that conversation (and expense) back!
This is a well thought out machine with lots of handy features. It is so easy to take all the pieces apart to ensure everything is cleaned well before putting it away- no more little traps for dirt and grime and gunk (and stink). The self cleaning feature for the hose is brilliant! So simple and easy to use and saves a ton of mess trying to clean the machine after each use. The HydroSteam is sturdy and well built. It is heavy enough to feel solid, without being so heavy it’s a challenge to move around and use. (And totally cosmetic, but the black and copper coloring looks pretty sharp too!).
This HydroSteam is absolutely worth it for the seam power and the extra features. Having a machine that is easy to use, even easier to clean, and one that does such a good job, means I will use it that much more. This one is truly a gem!

Excellent Clean Lightweight and Easy to Use

The cleaning power is great and removed every stain (even the stain in my kid's playroom that had been there for years). The steam clean and the steam pre-treat breaks down tough sticky messes. I could see the steam in action! The clean water and dirty water compartments were easy to changeout. The whole device felt well-built and will last me a long time. I am very pleased with this carpet cleaner.

Great For Everyday Kid Messes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Hydrosteam is a great carpet cleaner for tackling both everyday messes and hidden dirt with the power of steam. It was surprisingly easy to assemble and start using. You simply click the handle into place and insert the clean water tank. I was honestly surprised by how lightweight it felt, which made it easy to carry up the stairs. The product feels very sturdy and I expect it to last a long time.
It was very simple to fill the tank with water, and I loved the markings on the side of the clean water tank, so I knew exactly how much water and solution to add. After that, I simply plugged it in and it was ready to go. It didn’t take long for it to heat it up.
The power button on the vacuum seems a little odd (it has a protective plastic cover over it), but it works perfectly. The machine was very simple to use- squeeze the trigger to release the solution as you move the vacuum forward and release the trigger as you pull the vacuum back.
I loved that there was a steam pre-treat option to help get out stubborn stains and felt like it worked well. The steam power function was by far my favorite feature. You can actually see the steam as you’re using the vacuum, and it feels like it is getting the carpet so much cleaner.
As a mom of six, there are constant messes, and this carpet cleaner quickly and easily tackled toothpaste and marker on my carpet. I was amazed that it got everything out so quickly and easily. We are a ‘no shoes in the house’ family, and I assumed my carpets were mostly clean. I was wrong. I was both disgusted by how dirty the water was when I emptied the tank, as well as satisfied that the carpet was now so much cleaner.
One thing I didn’t realize at first was that you need to empty the dirty water tank before using the self-cleaning cycle. The first time I tried it, I didn’t empty the tank and water squirted out of the attachment while I was running the self-clean cycle. However, after I emptied the dirty water tank, the self-cleaning function worked great. It was very easy to use and also pretty cool to watch!
It was also very easy to disassemble, and I loved that the parts rinsed so easily. I’ve been really happy with this carpet cleaner so far. It’s simple to use, powerful enough for everyday family messes, and left my carpet looking almost like new.

Great Vacuum for pet friendly homes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this machine is a beast. Its a little heavy and can seem overwhelming to use but it cleans my floors like a charm. In a home with animals, hair, litter, dirt, etc get everywhere. Its tough to manually clean each stain so the fact that this vacuum can steam to clean is great. The two tanks allow for clean water to hold on top and dirty water to be filtered out and held on the bottom. The waters are always separate so youre not cleaning woth dirty water. It is then easy to pour out and dispose of. This vacuum is mainly used for carpet and upholstery and it does a great job at that, but it also works well on hardwood floors as the functions also work there. This allows me to easily clean up my home quickly and it works like a charm.
I would recommend this to a friend!
