Best carpet cleaner with amazing results

The overall cleaning power of the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam is amazing! It is honestly the best carpet cleaner I have used and I was blown away with the results it produced. I didn’t realize how much of a difference the HydroSteam feature would make until I saw the results firsthand. The combination of strong suction and real steam pulls an incredible amount of dirt out of the carpet. When I emptied the dirty water tank, the amount of dirt and debris it collected really spoke for itself. It made it clear that the machine was deep cleaning far beyond the surface level.

There was old dried clay stuck deep in the carpet that I previously couldn’t remove. After using the HydroSteam cleaner, the steam softened it almost immediately. I was able to wipe it up easily, and it came completely out of the carpet without leaving residue behind. The ability of the steam to loosen stubborn messes is a huge advantage.

I first used the cleaner on our family room rug. After seeing the amount of dirt that collected in the dirty water tank, I was eager to run another pass the next day. Even during the second cleaning it still pulled up a noticeable amount of dirt, which really impressed me.

I used the Steam Pretreat and SteamWash Max setting for several passes and then followed with a few "dry" passes to suck up extra moisture. The carpets were slightly damp afterward but not overly wet. With fans running in the room, they were fully dry within about two hours.

Overall, the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam carpet cleaner exceeded my expectations. I was so happy with the results and so impressed! The HydroSteam feature, strong suction, ability to handle stubborn messes, quick heat-up time, and easy self-cleaning cycle make it an incredibly effective machine. It left my carpets looking refreshed, smelling clean, and noticeably deep cleaned!

Amazing deep carpet cleaning machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam carpet cleaner is the best machine I have used on our floors. We have long haired cats and a toddler so cleanup is constant. The machine is very easy and quick to assemble. It isn't as heavy as some carpet cleaners and rolls smoothly making cleaning a breeze. The Steam Wash really helps with set in stains. It took out stains our other carpet cleaner couldn't. I love how you can see the steam coming out of the machine so you know it's working. It helps to lift the stains.
The suction is great so after a few swipes the carpet is fairly dry. You can see all the dirt and hair coming though the front of the machine. I couldn't believe how much came out of our carpet that we vacuum regularly. It sucks up all the water and cleaner so your carpet is left feeling soft instead of crunchy after drying.
It is also very easy to clean afterwards with the self-clean feature. I enjoy using this so much more than other carpet cleaners because it is easy to use and actually works great.

Best carpet and upholstery cleaner out there

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After paying a carpet cleaning company to clean my carpets for me several times a year I’m sooo thrilled to now have the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. I’m someone who gets the ick real bad from dirty floors but also someone who made the decision to get very light carpet (with little kids in the house no less!). I needed a real solution because hiring the pros to do it several times a year was not working with our budget or lifestyle. This Bissell has be obsessed, it’s so easy to use and the results are intensely satisfying that even the mattresses in my house are getting a good cleaning these days! The machine is smaller and lighter than the cleaners you can typically rent and I LOVE the steam feature. I cleaned my carpets without and cleaners, only water and steam and I’ll let the photos speak for themselves on how amazing it works. I used the hose and other attachments which doesn’t support steam and will be adding photos of my dining room chairs that I used to be so embarrassed by, but now they look 100x better! The blue stain is acrylic paint and the green is a permanent marker. I used to dread cleaning up after cleaning but this Bissell has a self cleaning feature to clean the brush and it makes that part so much more tolerable. I do with it came with the docking station to be able to use that feature but it was worth the cost to me! I wish I could add more photos of all my before and afters! I reallly love this cleaner! I’ve had others and this is the best one I’ve owned and no more pro needed!

Great for a DIY clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Bissel Revolution Hydrosteam cleaner as I’ve only ever used a portable carpet cleaner or a big monster professional one you have to rent. But this one was awesome! I am finally able to get the clean I want from the messes of 3 kids and an indoor Golden Retriever. The cleaning power was adequate and I really enjoyed the steam option. I don’t think I’ll ever have to rent a carpet cleaner again.

Steams and Cleans Perfectly

The cleaning power is incredibly strong and takes out stains easily and quickly, even ones that have been stuck on for awhile. My couch had some stains on it from my toddler, and after using the self-cleaning tool, it easily took the stains right out and you could see the dirty water compartment filling right up. I steamed our carpet, and seeing the real steam coming out and pulling up stains and dirt that I didn't even realize were there was impressive. I like that you have the option to pretreat with just steam or utilize the steam while you are cleaning depending on the mess you are cleaning. The Hydrosteam is easy to put together and also easy to take apart in order to clean the pieces. The compartments for water are large and the Hydrosteam tool itself is very sleek looking with gold accents. My only complaint is that this Bissell Hydrosteam is heavy so if you need to carry it up and down stairs it may be a hassle, but bringing room to room is easy as it is on wheels and glides nicely. This Hydrosteam looks and works great, and really gets carpet and couches clean where you can truly see its cleaning power as you are using it and in a short amount of time. Even my toddler was excited about using it and seeing how it steamed, and wanting to help out with spraying the self-cleaning tool on the couch!

Incredible cleaning power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The carpets in my home had needed deep cleaning for quite a while, and the Bissell PowerSteam certainly delivered! I have a young child, 3 cats (including a senior), and a giant fluffy dog who we adopted as a puppy, so although I always cleaned up messes by hand, many left unsightly stains that just wouldn't go away. I had considered renting a professional carpet cleaner, or hiring someone. I borrowed a family member's machine that did next to nothing besides waste a lot of expensive cleaning solution. This machine made short work of the job, and my carpets now look and feel so clean that I actually cried real tears of joy.
It was simple, intuitive, and straightforward to assemble, with detailed instructions to assist if needed. This machine is very well designed. The cleaning solution actually goes much farther and cleans more than I expected, and seeing the murky water that gets sucked back out through the clear front is incredibly satisfying, and makes it easy to judge how many passes are needed. The machine is a little on the heavy side and can be tricky to maneuver, but it has to be heavy to have so much power. The steam really works great to break down and loosen any sticky gross spots, and it pulls out an impressive amount of "stuff." I found that if I just went over where I cleaned a few times without squeezing the trigger to spray more solution, the majority of the moisture was sucked up and the carpets dried within only a couple of hours, looking fresh and plush. It was a breeze to take apart and clean all the parts when finished, leaving it ready for the next time. The hose attachment also worked quite well on furniture, edges, and even my cat tree. The hose itself is generously long and the attachment cleans efficiently. Itbeven cleans itself, which was a surprising and helpful feature.
The only negative aspects are the aforementioned weight, and that the cleaning solution is a bit on the pricey side. It also leaves a small 1-2 inch strip along the wall where the brushes don't quite reach, so in order to ensure that strip is truly as clean as it can be, I had to go around the whole perimeter of my home with the hose attatchment, which was a bit tedious. I imagine though, that all that won't be necessary again now that the deep clean is done and I own the machine and can use it regularly to maintain this level of clean.

Professional Tier Steam Carpet Cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most impressive carpet cleaner I’ve ever used. The cleaning power is comparable to having a professional carpet cleaning company come to your house. I was shocked by how much filth was removed from an area rug in our dining area. Several deep stains and stuck-on messes were lifted and removed during use of the steam power function. It’s so easy to use and versatile too. We were able to clean my son’s mattress using the handheld component. I’m very satisfied that the steam reaches such a high temperature to kill lingering bacteria and germs. I’d recommend this carpet cleaner to anyone looking to keep carpets, mattresses, or upholstered furniture clean.

Strong carpet cleaner with some serious power

From strong suction to a variety of useful attachments, this cleaner has a lot of great qualities that most shoppers are looking for. Especially for pet owners, it can be hard to find a cleaner that can clean and remove pet hair with the same veracity.
The machine was very easy and intuitive to set up and I was ready to clean in a matter of minutes. The machine itself is beautiful with the rose gold and black color scheme. I will say, this is a mammoth cleaner! It is actually quite large which does make it quite heavy too. However, I feel like the weigh helps it push deeper into the carpet and get a deep clean. A bonus benefit of the cleaner that I have not experienced before is that the deep bristles not only pulled up embedded pet hair but also helped revitalize my matted shag carpeting. I had no idea how much dog hair was deeply embedded in my carpet! I do feel that the suction pulled out more water from the short carpet than my long carpet, but it seemed to work just as well. The steam power is great because I feel it sanitizes more than solution and water alone. I like being able to see the steam coming out because I know it is working. The hose attachment makes it easy to tackle small upholstery messes. However, I would say that the crevasse attachment tool is a bit cumbersome and the spray is hard to control when using it, so I would probably only use that when absolutely necessary.
