Gets out grease

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam is a game-changer! We had an issue with a rolling chair about a year ago. We kept getting grease stains all over our carpet upstairs. It took us a while to figure out where the grease stains came from. The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam got those stains out ENTIRELY! I was so excited to try it that I forgot to take before pictures of the grease upstairs. I did have to do it once, let it dry, and the clean it twice to make it go away entirely, but it was totally worth it. The pictures I’ve shared are from our downstairs carpet where it is highly trafficked. We had some grease stains there. The pictures show how it looks after once over. I’m certain they will be gone after the carpet drys and I do it again. The hose self cleans, which is amazing. And the top of the main suction part comes apart entirely so an EASY clean. My last carpet cleaner got mold there because we couldn’t take it apart, so this was awesome. I think the steam cleaning portion of the vacuum really makes a difference. I will say that the solution they want you to use is very strong. I recommend planning to be able to ventilate well while it drys. I also tried it on my couch and it looks amazing!

Subtle difference but definitely cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My before and after photos are not as dramatic as the ones by the brand, but I do notice a difference in the cleanliness of the area rugs I cleaned. I tried it on two different area rugs. One that is a lighter color and just looked grimy since my dog loves to sit there. Another was a thin, entryway doormat that you could see some dirt stains on. At first, the light colored rug didn't look very different - but after checking the next morning I could see a difference! I was worried about using steam on the thinner door rug, but that worked as well without penetrating the rubber between the rug and floor. It is pretty satisfying to see all the dirt collected in the dirty water compartment!

Great on both pet and kid messes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a busy mom of two kiddos and a dog, I’m constantly cleaning up messes around the house. This week I used the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam Carpet Cleaner to tackle kid vomit, dog urine, and even dog vomit that landed on our area rugs. These are usually stubborn stains, but this carpet cleaner cleaned them up quickly!
One of the messes had been sitting for about a day, so I used the steam feature first to loosen the stain, then switched to the clean mode to fully remove it. It worked really well!
For another mess, I used the handheld attachment, which was incredibly easy to use and made spot cleaning simple. I also love that the machine has a self-cleaning mode, which helps rinse out the system after use!
Another thoughtful feature is the tool that helps remove debris from the front of the machine, making it easy to keep everything clean and running smoothly.
This carpet cleaner has been a huge help for my busy and active household with kids and pets. I’m impressed with how well it handled some pretty tough messes!

Awesome Cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a father of 4 under 6 years old and a part time fur parent and I can say this thing is awesome! Out of the box it gives you lots of cleaning options and is so simple to put together. Both the hand held option and push cleaning option work fantastic. It is easy to use and pretty powerful for a non industrial grade product. It tackled small messes with the hand held cleaner and renewed carpets that had been through years of mess and play. The only reason for 4 stars is the hand held cleaner can be tricky to get the cleaning solution to spray out. Other than that it is a great product. I also want to thank Stellar reviews for allowing me to try this great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loveeeeee this! I would say make sure you keep the manual because without it, I struggled trying to figure out which setting was best. If you are a mom or dad (kid or pet) this will be your new best friend, trust me I have both. Potty training and accidents no longer have to be feared with this machine. Plus, its cute.

Great steam cleaning power

It handled everyday messes with ease and left the floors looking noticeably cleaner after each use. The suction and mopping combination worked well together, so it didn’t just move dirt around, it actually picked it up.
When it came to sticky or stuck-on messes, it did a great job. Dried spills and spots that usually take extra scrubbing loosened up quickly, especially when using the steam function. I didn’t have to go back over the same area multiple times, which saved a lot of time.
The steam power function was one of my favorite features. It felt more hygienic knowing it uses real steam rather than just warm water. The steam helped break down grime and left the floors feeling truly clean without needing harsh chemicals.
The self-cleaning cycle was also very convenient. It was simple to start and took care of rinsing the brush and internal parts without much effort from me. It made maintenance easy and helped keep the machine ready for the next use.

Steam Pretreat Feature Is a Game Changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam Carpet Cleaner. One of my favorite features is the steam option for pretreating stains. It does a great job loosening spots before cleaning, and I noticed a real difference on tougher stains.
The machine is also very powerful, and the water tank holds enough to clean an entire bedroom without needing to refill, which made the job much quicker and easier.
Another thing I loved is how simple it is to take apart and clean. The parts snap off easily, rinse quickly, and snap right back into place. No complicated cleanup.
Overall, it’s powerful, easy to maintain, and does a great job removing stains. Definitely a 5-star product in my book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am writing to share my review of the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam upright carpet and upholstery cleaner. Overall, the cleaning power is fantastic, with plenty of suction for both carpets and upholstery.
I have used this vacuum for multiple applications since I’ve had it and have been impressed with how well it cleans each area of my house. Shortly after I received it, my dog got injured and bled all over on an almost white area rug; the Bissell Hydrosteam successfully removed all the blood, pet hair, and other, stubborn debris. I didn’t even realize my carpet was that dirty despite daily vacuuming. The steam function definitely helped on the more difficult stains and to loosen any debris from my dogs injury. I thought I was going to have to throw the rug away but it now looks better than it did before!
The steam function also helped soften the creases in a new area rug I just put in my daughter’s room, which I feel is a great option and unique feature. I especially liked that it used real steam so I wasn’t worried about burning or melting the fibers in the carpet.
I also used the easy-to-use attachments to clean a rocking chair, and it now looks like a new chair. Just look at the before and after pictures! The upholstery cord is more than adequate in length, and the sprayer is very simple to operate. My only minor critique is that controlling the spray in small areas, such as the arms of a chair, can be challenging due to a little overspray.
This vacuum is an outstanding, heavy-duty, and well-made machine. The self-cleaning feature makes it extremely easy to clean, and the design allows for convenient access to all parts that require cleaning. I’ve used others that were really difficult and tedious to clean, so I didn't ever feel like using them. The Bissell Hydrosteam is so easy to clean and does such a good job that I am looking forward to cleaning all my other rugs and upholstered furniture.
I really enjoyed using this product and would recommend it to anyone who has carpet, area rugs, or upholstered furniture in their home.
