Cleans great and easy to keep clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With two little ones under 3 years old and a carpeted dining room (not my ideal situation!), messes are bound to happen in our house. I am amazed at how clean our carpets looked and felt after using the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam.
The steam function was amazing to soften and lift up dried sauces/foods. I have tried so many ways to keep our carpets clean but nothing else has worked as well as the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. Even the toughest stuck on messes (ie. modeling clay stepped on and dried into the carpet) were cleaned up with just a few extra passes on the area.
My one con is the amount of time it takes to dry out the clean water tank since it has only one smaller hole on top, but overall, that isn’t an issue at all.
It’s one thing to be good at cleaning carpets, but this machine is a breeze to clean after using it. The dirty water tank opens fully at the top for easy disposal and clean out. Cleaning the nozzle was very easy as well, one small tug and it all came loose to fully clean out. The catch and clean tray did a great job of capturing cat hair before it ended up in the dirty water tank. The upholstery tubing even has its own self cleaning feature. All these easy ways to clean up make using this machine not a big project and something I am very likely to pull out more often to keep our house clean!

Exceptional Deep Cleaning Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve come to realize that the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam is one of the best carpet cleaners on the market to date. This product literally removed all of the stains created by my cat and kid, all in one hour. It uses this special steam cycle that works alongside its water cycle to lift tough stains. Its powerful suction ensures that heavy dirt is removed efficiently. The included attachments make it super easy to switch from the floor to the upholstery in seconds. The capacity of the tank is more than adequate for a deep clean and it’s also really easy to switch out the tanks. The unit itself is easy to clean utilizing its self-cleaning cycle feature and tear down of the unit for storage is super easy. Gone are the days of dreading the carpet cleaning process. The results speak for themselves and it doesn’t waste your time. If I had to offer up a negative comment, I would say it’s a little heavier than anticipated. However, the pros outweigh the cons on this unit with no leaking, plenty of capacity, and cleaning power. If you’re looking for a deep cleaning machine for all those tough stains and dirt, you’ll find what you’re looking for with the Revolution Hydrosteam.

Incredible carpet cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam is hands-down the best carpet cleaner I have ever used, including larger commercial cleaners I have rented in the past. This machine is absolutely amazing!!
Assembly was super simple and I had it ready to go out of the box in minutes! The water tank is easy to access, and is clearly marked with how much water and cleaner to use. The steam pretreater is a handy option for tackling sticky messes. This is a feature my old cleaner does not have, and I can say it makes the overall job much easier. Cleaning the carpet was a breeze after pretreating. The machine is very easy to use - just pull the trigger as you push forward along the carpet, release trigger and pull back over same area. It is incredible to see all the dirt and pet hair being sucked up! I always vacuum before shampooing my carpet to help with the pet hair, but this Hydrosteam cleaner found lots more hair to pull up! The suction on this machine is extremely strong. I am so impressed! I love the fact it uses real steam during cleaning not only because the steam breaks down tough stains but also because it gives you the satisfied feeling that the carpet is being deep cleaned and sanitized.
One of my favorite things about this cleaner is the self cleaning cycle. You simply fill the clean water tank with water and a small amount of cleaning solution, be sure the dirty tank is empty, and place the machine on the storage tray. Push the clean out button and the machine does the rest! It takes about 40 minutes and your machine is clean for storage!
I would highly recommend this carpet cleaner. I have owned many over the years and this one is simply the best!!

Powerful hydrosteam vacuum

This powerful cleaner is surprisingly lightweight, making it suitable for homes and smaller offices. The setup and cleanup process are straightforward, provided you read the instructions and give it a try. However, it’s important to note that the water supply runs out quickly, so you’ll need to refill it after cleaning a medium-sized room carpet.
After using the carpet cleaner, your home will be filled with a pleasant, clean aroma. The hydrosteam feature effectively removes any visible stains, leaving your carpets looking newer and whiter. While I do have cats who run through occasionally, I have 3 kids who make plenty of messes. The carpets and rugs had old vomit, shoe dirt, and worn stains.
The steam feature adds an extra layer of cleanliness to the carpet, making it feel more thoroughly cleaned.
Cleaning up the machine is simple. I recommend rinsing everything thoroughly and setting it to dry immediately after the cleaning session.

Fast Heating and Great for Grime and Slime

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite our "no slime" rule, some still found its way into the playroom rug. It was the perfect excuse to try the pre wash steam, and it did not disappoint!
I also used it on my entry rug since the winter has been too brutal to wash it outside. It was mind blowing to see the grime come out, and seeing the steam while you work is so satisfying.
Compared to my old school steamer, this one is ready in 35 seconds if you use warm tap water. Filling it from the top is a total game changer and way more practical.
My only gripe is the attachment tool doesn't release steam, so upholstery isn't really an option.
One word of caution: I was used to an older model and ended up making a huge mess in my bathroom the first time I emptied it.
Learn from my mistake and definitely read the manual before you pour out the dirty water!

Great Cleaning Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great steam cleaner! The assembly was quick and easy and the instructions were clear. The vacuum comes with multiple attachments so you can clean anything from furniture to crevices.
The clean and dirty water tanks are a great size so you don’t have to dump or refill so quickly. It took me a minute to understand the handle and how you pull it to get the water/soap solution to dispense, but once I got the hang of it it was simple enough.
It has the capability of running two different cleaning options - steam max and steam pretreat. I used both options and they worked great! My children had gotten toothpaste on the carpet and I had had a hard time getting it off once it had dried. This machine got it all out! I pretreated it with steam and then went over it on the regular steam and cleaning.
The machine seems to clean well overall. I will say, the carpets were a little wetter than I expected but they could be walked on about 2-3 hours later. The clean up was ok. I do like how easily it is to pop off the brush roller cover and clean the catch and clean tray. I am disappointed that I cannot remove the roll to clean it without unscrewing part of the bottom of the vacuum.
Overall, it is a great product and I know it will be very useful!!

Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to use the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam on my carpets, rugs, and upholstery, and overall I was really impressed. With a toddler and a large dog at home, things can get messy quickly, so having a reliable cleaner is a must. We’ve always trusted Bissell products to help keep our home clean, and this one did not disappoint.
The vacuum function worked very well, and the steam feature was a great addition. Even though I vacuumed beforehand, it still managed to pull up additional dog hair while shampooing the carpets, which was impressive. I also tried the handheld upholstery attachment, and the self-cleaning feature was extremely convenient.
While I think Bissell’s standalone handheld upholstery cleaner is a bit stronger than the built-in attachment on this unit, the attachment still did a great job overall. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for an effective carpet cleaner, especially in a busy home with kids or pets.

Overall Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carpet cleaner took a bit of trial and error for me to start, but once I got going it really did a great job. It is really surprising how much dirt was buried in my rug. I have attached a photo that shows the dirty water tank after I cleaned an area rug. I have three small children and one dog, a black lab. The instructions said to vacuum the area well before beginning. I learned very quickly that my vacuum has nowhere near the suction power that this machine has. The EZ Clean Brush Roll Cover with Catch & Clean Tray was really put to the test and it caught so much dog hair. This tray was incredibly easy to take off and clean/ remove the hair that had built up. I did find that in the beginning of every forward pass I made, it did leave some clumps of dog hair behind. I do think though that if my vacuum had worked better ahead of time this wouldn’t have been an issue but I do appreciate that the dog hair did not clog up the machine. I do have another carpet cleaner that is older and it does not do well with dog hair.. in fact I think the dog hair may have ruined my older machine and I haven’t been able to use it.
I think the steam and the XL DirtLifter PowerBrush really make a huge difference with how much the Revolution Hydrosteam picks up. I could visibly see the brown water being sucked up. It was very satisfying! The large clean and dirty water tanks are nice too, you don’t have to constantly be stopping to empty or fill up. I’m excited to keep using this machine to clean all of the carpets and rugs in my house as well as the upholstered furniture using the upholstery attachment. The photos attached are certainly not pretty photos but they really show how powerful the Revolution Hydrosteam really is, even with all of the pet hair.
