Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam was being impressed by how compact it is compared to other carpet cleaners I've used in the past. This alone made me very happy since I can easily store this machine in my closet without taking up too much room. This also means I can use it more often and with 5 kids, my carpets and upholstery are always dirty! The cleaning power of this Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam is superior to others I've tried. I believe the steam power function really helped to get up the stubborn stuck on food. My carpets look brand new and smell fresh. What really impressed me the most was the handheld upholstery attachment. My kitchen chairs were NASTY and this machine cleaned them up so well with minimal effort. Lastly, I really appreciate the Self-cleaning cycle. This clever feature is so convenient because who wants to deal with cleaning the machine right after you just got done cleaning the carpets! Overall, I would recommend this product!

Best carpet cleaner EVER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 3 kids and 2 dogs, I have used my share carpet cleaners but never one using steam, so I was very excited to try the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam carpet cleaner!
First, does steam actually make that much of a difference? YES. A thousand times yes. The pictures attached is of my two toddler sons’ room. Before (freshly vacuumed), after one pass, and after 2 passes. I honestly did not expect the Bissell Hydrosteam to clean it ENTIRELY as it did, as some of those spots have been there for years, despite previous deep cleaning with a carpet cleaner.
It was easy to set up, took 30 seconds to be ready for steam, and was as easy as running a vacuum. I did not pre-treat this area because it wasn’t sticky, but there is a pre-treat feature. Even without it, this machine effortlessly removed old gross stains in a matter of minutes.
The manual says it is dry in 3 hours. That was not my experience… it used a LOT of water and steam to clean that small area(1.5 tanks) and took approx 6 hours to dry. Absolutely worth the inconvenience, but good to know.
Clean up was a breeze - I dumped the dirty water, rinsed the tank and easily washed the brushes and bristles in a couple of minutes. Super easy.
All in all, I had such a positive experience cleaning with this machine. When you have a “situation” that requires deep carpet cleaning (parents of children and pets… if you know, you know) don’t wait around for an expensive professional service or rent a questionable alternative. This steam cleaner is WORTH IT, y’all. Thank me later.

A powerful clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleaning with the Bissell Revolution Hydro steam is so satisfying and also addicting! The product was easy to assemble, and the instructions were clear. It even comes with some cleaning solution to get you started.
The obvious first choice was tackling a white rug in an area of high traffic. I spot treated some areas with stain remover as instructed and did the steam pre-treat. I then went over the whole area rug steam cleaning. The size of the tank was perfect. The steam never stopped, the heating light stayed lit and the amount of water dispensed onto the rug didn’t soak through. We are a “no shoes” house with regular vacuuming and the dirty water tank after cleaning just half the rug was already brown. Just as the manual indicated, it took about 3-4 hours to dry. The results were great, with the spots all gone! The rug was looking pretty dingy before and has been totally brought back to life.
The upright format is ergonomic and facilitates cleaning in a larger space. I do wish the steam worked with the attachment but it is great to have the attachment options even without it. It is worth mentioning this machine is not lightweight. It is very heavy- it takes effort to push and pull as the vacuuming is manual, and even more so to carry up the stairs. It is likewise bulky to store however the dirty water tank is easy to remove and light to carry and clean.

Powerful Hydrosteam for Dog Loving Family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 2 toddlers and 1 golden retriever - this Bissel Revolution Hydrosteam was a lifesaver! I was truly impressed with how easy it was to assemble this Hydrosteam. Immediately after assembling, which took a total of 4 minutes, I began to fill up the tank with water and cleaner. After placing the tank back on the device, the Hydrosteam was ready to go! Wowza - it got out the dirt stains, sticky chocolate and pasta sauce from our living room. The steam power function was powerful and very necessary for our family of messy kids (including our dog). Watching the dirty water inside the cleaner was satisfying and another testament to how much quality is displayed in this Bissel. Although I haven’t utilized the self-cleaning function yet, I’m looking forward to saving time using this tool. We now have 3 Bissel devices and look forward to buying more!

Good carpet cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. I have pets and fairly high-traffic carpets, and this machine made a noticeable difference after the first use. The HydroSteam mode does a great job loosening tough stains, and the suction pulls up a lot more dirty water than I expected, which made me feel like the carpets were actually getting deep cleaned.
It was easy to set up and pretty straightforward to use. I also like the different cleaning modes depending on how deep a clean you need. My carpets dried faster than I thought they would, which was a nice bonus.
It’s a little on the heavier side, but that’s expected for a powerful carpet cleaner. Overall, it works extremely well and made my carpets look almost new again. Definitely worth it!

So easy to use and really cleans deep with steam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly this hydrosteam was disgusting in the best way possible. I couldn't believe the amount of junk it pulled out of the couch. It’s kind of gross knowing we were sitting on all that but at least it’s gone now. It’s cleaning power is top-notch!
With a dog and 2 young kids we had a lot of messes and spilled food and drink on our couches and carpeting. Going over the carpet and upholstery with this just a few times and it got it out. I didn't really have to sit there and scrub at anything forever which is usually the worst part. It just kind of lifted the sticky spots right up without a struggle.
The fact that this uses real steam is actually a big deal. You can tell it’s doing more than just getting the fabric wet. It feels like it’s actually getting deep in there and sanitizing things instead of just moving the dirt around.
The self-cleaning cycle is super handy and easy to use. You just run the cycle and it clears out the hose so the machine doesn't end up smelling like a swamp a week later. It’s pretty straightforward and doesn't take much effort. I appreciate this the most about this because a lot of cleaners we’ve used before are just so much effort to clean afterwards, it doesn’t feel worth it.

Powerful hydrosteam cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carpet cleaner/ spot cleaner and steam clean 3 in 1 is by far the best we’ve had!
We have all carpet on our second level and even though we don’t wear shoes in the house, our carpets get filthy! This machine is a bit heavier than others I’ve used but that also makes it better at sucking up the water. We had a big coffee spill on our couch and carpet, the vacuum sucked it all up. I was also surprised by how long the hose was to spot clean, it was so convenient and I didn’t have to keep lugging the big vacuum around with me!
Hands down the best part is the steam! I was so thrilled to steam the carpets, it looked like a professional carpet job was done- that’s how clean the carpets got and felt so soft again!
The machine itself is not self cleaning but it is extremely easy to clean. The hose comes with a self cleaning attachment.
Although minor, the only downside is that the cord is quite short and I wish that it was longer.
If you’re looking for a carpet cleaner that has big reservoirs, actually picks up the water, steams, and is very very easy to disassemble and clean this is the machine for you!

Car Seats Cat Urine Carpets Now CLEAN

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam is my new best friend! I may have, but defn did, spend a few hours my first day owning it cleaning anything I could think of. I could NOT stop. I didn't want to either!
The items we own, places we travel, and where we're living get so grimy. This Bissell cleaner with its Hydrosteam option and hand held wand attachment has dazzled me. Baby car seats!!! Strollers! Car floors! Fabric stains! Seatbelt straps! Interior carpets! Fabric on couches! Area rugs! It has revolutionized the healthy, hygienic energy of my home. The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam doesn't just clean, it jumpstarts motivation! Now, it's fun cleaning up after my three kids and 4 cats! (No, I will not hold a lost kitten for you while you look for its home! Not again!)
Oh AND the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam was able to remove the male cat urine spray that my back car seat was doused in after we accidentally left a window down. Seriously! For months I tried everything to remove the urine smell. All I needed was my Bissell!
In life, it is the small things that matter most when picking carpet cleaners. The things that get the job done right, the first time, in no time! Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam carpet cleaner makes cleaning easier! Plus the steam is a game changer! If you'd asked me what my favorite part was though, I'm going with, the attachable wand. Cleaning strollers, baby car seats, and high chairs were such a pain until Bissell Revolution wand rescued me! A few minutes with Bissell followed by an extra short dry time and ta-da, all done! The suction strength in the hose attachment is excellent! When cleaning our carpets around the house, I wish there was a tad more weight on the front of main body of the machine. Getting the suction as close to the ground as possible would get more water out of the carpet. I think our carpet mat is thicker. We made a double pass to assure the carpet was dry post-treatment! The attachment hose is sturdy and of good length. The assembly of the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam was completed in under five minutes. But even if it had been confusing, there is a problem solving webpage to help you so you are not alone! When I had completed the jobs, cleaning the machine was WAY easier than I expected! By the time you're done working hard you don't want to spend a lot of time cleaning up. The Hydrosteam was cleaned up quietly! It looked almost like new. The cord is strong and a nice length.
I'm honestly much more than just pleased with my Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. I'm excited for the next use!
