Great Machine!

I have owned several bissells before this, and this one takes the cake. It cleans SO well. It uses alot of water, but it cleans so fast and so completely. I have been bragging about this to my mom over and over. It also has fantastic suction, and leaves the floor pretty dry. Besides the cleaning, it is such an improvement over the pet revolution, as everything comes apart with the push of a button, and can be cleaned in easily seconds. The plastic base is also great, as it allows it to drain and dry in between cleaning. Bissel really knocked it out of the park with this one.

Just wow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone thought we were crazy when we bought a white entryway rug. And I eventually believed them when I could not get it clean despite my best effort. But then, I tried the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. I could not believe how quickly the stains lifted!! Our rugs all look brand new again. I love how easily it glides across various carpet textures. It’s intuitive to use and the attachments are so well thought out. One of the most surprising things about this amazing tool is how well it works not only on carpet and tile but on detailing our car! The attachments were the perfect shape and size and the steam really eliminated the odor from some spilled food that was starting to make us all a little queasy. One of my biggest concerns was how the heat might damage the wood under my rugs, but I was pleased to report, the steam not only lifted stuck on stains but also never stayed hot enough to cause any pain or damage. It’s safe to use around pets and kids, but exceptionally effective on stuck on stains. I only wish I had one for every floor of my home! It’s a little tricky carrying it up and down the stairs. I seriously suggest getting yourself the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam today. I might just order another one right now.

Powerful and effective carpet cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam Carpet Cleaner! There were carpet stains in my home that I was hoping to not have to call a carpet cleaning company for and I’m so glad I didn’t! The Bissell Hydrosteam powerfully tackled the stains- that have been there for months- in minutes! The steam seemed to loosen the stain and pretreat it before I scrubbed with the attachment brush hose. I really loved the steam feature. Steam also sanitizes so it feels even cleaner that way. I liked the spraying feature of the hose, where it sprayed the water/soap mixture onto the carpet and sucked it up. I’m talking about red lipstick that my four year old used to draw on her sister’s bedroom floor! The red lipstick is now gone! So amazing! I used some extra elbow grease to scrub out a hardened, old yogurt stain I found in my daughter’s bedroom as well. Now that stain is gone!
This is a heavy, solid machine. It is very well-made. It is very substantial and high quality. It was also pretty simple to clean. I cleaned it manually after my first use by removing the vacuum/steamer brush cover and rinsing it, removing the cover of the hose brush and rinsing it, rinsing out the dirty water tank and the water/soap chamber as well. I didn’t realize there was a self cleaning feature but I will try that next time. I am happy to know that’s an option.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam carpet cleaner to friends and family and anyone who asks! I am impressed with its cleaning power and special features and I look forward to the next time I can use it!

Great on tough stains

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how it was able to clean my upstairs carpets. I noticed the color of my carpets had changed, they looked darker in color, and overall just looked dirtier. But now that I have the hydrosteam, my carpets are definitely closer to the original color. I even tried it one of my upholstered chairs and it actually got a bad stain out of it!
We have tried many different techniques and products to get rid of a dried milk stain in our carpet upstairs, but nothing was successful. It was a very crunchy texture and I could feel it every time I walked in that area. There’s nothing more frustrating, than feeling your reoccurring failure! However, now our hydrosteam was actually able to get it out! I couldn’t believe it! Our kids leave sticky messes all over our couches, chairs, and carpets, and now we finally feel like we have something that can reverse the stains that happen!
I did like the steam power function, however, I wish it was a bit stronger of a suction. I felt my carpets were wet for a longer period of time than I would have liked. My kids were anxious to get back to playing on the carpet and I had to do them in sections so one area could dry, while the kids could play in the other area. I do like the function of using real steam, it seems to help clean the carpets much better, I just wish it was a faster drying process.
I absolutely love the self-cleaning feature on the hydrosteam. It makes it so much easier to clean, versus me taking it apart and washing it all by hand. I no longer have to worry about cleaning the gross/sticky messes from the machine because it does it for me!
Overall, I would definitely recommend it! I think the one issue with the carpets being a little more wet than I’d prefer, does not outweigh the benefits you will get in the end of your carpets need to look refreshed!

A lifesaver for busy moms

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom with kids constantly running in and out of the house, my carpets see everything from spilled drinks, muddy footprints, you name it. I’ve tried a few carpet cleaners over the years, but the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam really impressed me. The steam feature makes a huge difference. It helps loosen up sticky messes and stains that usually take multiple passes to remove. I used it on a few high-traffic areas in my living room and was honestly shocked at how much dirt it pulled out of the carpet.
I also love that it has different cleaning modes depending on how deep of a clean you need. The quick dry option is great when you just want to freshen things up without waiting forever for the carpet to dry, super helpful with kids. The tanks are easy to remove and refill, and the attachments make it easy to clean stairs and furniture too. Overall, it made my carpets look brighter, feel softer, and smell fresh again. For any busy household dealing with everyday messes, this machine is definitely worth it.

I really wish I could say that I loved this carpet cleaner. I currently own a Bissell and it outperforms this model in its overall power. With this model, a lot of water is left behind and took about 48 hours to dry. It did remove stains and sticky stuff that my kids had left on the rug and the couch really well. The steam power function was also a plus. I thought it was great that it used real steam to clean. This cleaner was also VERY easy to clean. The self cleaning cycle did a really great job of flushing the dirt and debris from the brush roll and inner components of the machine. Overall, this unit cleans pretty well. I just wish it had more power to suck up the water it is leaving behind.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing deep cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the bissell revolution hydrosteam carpet cleaner through the stellar product testing panel, and it has been a really helpful addition to our home. with a busy household and a lot of daily traffic on our carpets, I’m always looking for ways to keep them looking fresh. after using this cleaner, I could immediately see a difference. areas that looked dull or worn from everyday use looked noticeably cleaner and more refreshed.
the machine itself feels sturdy and powerful but is still easy to use. the brushes do a great job working the cleaning solution into the carpet and pulling up dirt that regular vacuuming just can’t reach. one thing I actually found really satisfying was emptying the dirty water tank and seeing how much dirt it pulled out, especially from high-traffic areas.
I also appreciated having the hose and attachments for smaller jobs like stairs and spot cleaning. being able to quickly tackle those areas without needing a separate tool makes it very practical for everyday messes.
the only downside I noticed is that it goes through the clean water fairly quickly, so if you’re cleaning a large area you’ll probably need to refill the tank a few times. that said, the results were worth the extra refills.
overall, the bissell revolution hydrosteam does a great job deep cleaning carpets and chairs and bringing them back to life. it’s powerful, straightforward to use, and makes a noticeable difference, which is exactly what I was hoping for
