This is an excellent carpet and upholstery cleaner. The tools provided are well made and I like the self-cleaning option, especially after cleaning something that is really dirty. We cleaned a couch that we thought was unsalvageable, but this machine did a great job and now have a very nice clean couch.

Great machine although I would be weary of the bel

I just finished setting up my machine everything seems to be working fine. I haven’t tested it yet but I noticed the brush belt is exposed under the unit. I will add a second review once I test it out but I would appreciate if bissell could update the design to fully enclose the belt as they have done in their previous models.

Wondered if it would remove normal foot traffic soiling. It didn't fully remove it. I could still see traffic path versus never touched carpet areas under say the couch when exposing the carpet. Other normal spots were removed and overall I'm sure the carpet is cleaner. Debated on returning it but will keep it for normal freshening up and if someone needs to borrow it.

This carpet cleaner cleans like a champ. I am impressed by the steam-cleaning function and that was the primary reason I bought it in comparison to other company models. I wish it had a "vacuum only" setting that was clear that it was only picking up the water without adding more. Based on what I have read, only when you pull the trigger is that the only time when water is coming out but it isn't completely intuitive if this is your first time cleaning carpets. Other than that, I love it. I saw another customer comparing this with another one in-store and I told him to buy it!

I have owned several bissells before this, and this one takes the cake. It cleans SO well. It uses alot of water, but it cleans so fast and so completely. I have been bragging about this to my mom over and over. It also has fantastic suction, and leaves the floor pretty dry. Besides the cleaning, it is such an improvement over the pet revolution, as everything comes apart with the push of a button, and can be cleaned in easily seconds. The plastic base is also great, as it allows it to drain and dry in between cleaning. Bissel really knocked it out of the park with this one.
