Easy to use and works great on tough stains

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam is both easy to use and efficient. This machine has drastically changed the way I clean carpet and upholstery around the house. Before the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam I used to dread the thought of carpet cleaning. Now, with this easy to use machine, I enjoy it! My carpets look fantastic and it makes the house feel fresh and clean. Having 3 kids and pets, the carpets get all sorts of dirt and grime on them each and everyday. The HydroSteam Technology was extremely effective and took care of many tough messes that I thought for sure would be permanent stains. It erased muddy paw prints with ease from our area rug and many more messes. The pre-treatment came in handy for the sticky snack residue that had been stepped into the carpet. The pre-treatment helped the mess come out quickly even though it was a bright red color. This machine is a must have for every busy home of kids and pets alike. I have yet to find a tool that could help me clean the carpet on the stairs until now! 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool made cleaning the the stairs a breeze. The look of the machine is sleek and polished. You can tell by just looking at it that the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam is made well. Overall, the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam system is a great machine that will deep clean even the toughest of messes with ease.

Deep Cleaning Made Easy with Powerful Results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam, it made my cleaning routine so much more efficient and thorough. The overall design is sleek and modern, and it's surprisingly easy to maneuver for a deep-cleaning machine. I especially loved how effective the HydroSteam Technology was at tackling sticky messes and tough dirt. I used it on my living room sofa to clean up juice spills, and I couldn’t believe how much dirt it pulled out, it left everything looking refreshed and spotless. One of the biggest wins for me was using it in both of our vehicles. The upholstery looks practically new again, especially in my work car where the pretreatment feature worked wonders on ground-in grime. It really made a difference in lifting dirt before the deep clean. The 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool was another favorite, it made it easy to clean above-floor areas like couches, stairs, and even pet beds without hassle. Overall, this machine has been a game-changer in my cleaning routine and definitely exceeded my expectations.

Love the steam

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking for an upholstery/ carpet cleaner for a while and love that Bissell uses steam! I try to use minimal products or cleaner products in my home and love that this is an option. It’s easy to use but comes with easy to follow instructions if needed, it’s lightweight and easy to clean. It also has a cool self cleaning feature for the hand held attachment! It works really well, this is a picture of what it got out of my entryway carpet along with a good amount of dog hair. It’s no longer grayish, it’s more white again! I definitely need more practice with the hand held attachment though because I feel like some parts of my chair were left cleaner and others it left streaks or dark spots. I do wish the hand held attachment had a steam option and not just using water with the pre-treat. Overall a good cleaner though!

Steam Cleaned Carpets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only does this carpet cleaner have a sleek and modern look, it really pulls up the dirt in carpet!
It was super easy to set up and use. The wide brush base covers a lot of carpet and takes less passes back and forth to get a clean room!
I liked how the steam function was able to loosen up stuck on gunk.
My favorite feature was the removable compartment on the brush head. Those get really gunked up after a while and can start to stink. It was easy to clean out after cleaning my carpets. Who wants to clean carpets with a dirty brush head??

Exceptional cleaning performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first experience with a hydrosteam product and we were pleasantly impressed by both the depth and versatility of the cleaning. I like the fact that it can but used on multiple surfaces at various cleaning levels and comes with attachments. I will say it was a bit cumbersome to get it out of the box when first opened. I didn’t realize how heavy it was. Once getting it out, I was really impressed with the overall design. It was sleek, easy to push for heavy-duty cleaning and had a long cord. The dirtlifter power beushes are amazing tools for bringing dirt and grime out fibers. I like this cleaner the most for its ability to clean up pet messes. We have 3 boys and two cats so all the extra power in this machine is definitely useful. I have a before and after picture of some carpet that was heavily stained. It helped lift the grime out of it.

Deep Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. It has sent me on a cleaning rampage that I didn't know I needed. I started off by using it to clean our family room rug, and I was shocked at the amount of dirt and debris that the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam picked up. This rug is relatively pretty new and we do not wear shoes in the house and yet it still was able to get so much out. I then started cleaning other carpet/soft surfaces in our home to find the same result. The machine itself is pretty big and heavy, but it does push and move very easily. It was very simple to set up and get started with cleaning. I was very impressed with the steam feature. This is definitely a great resource to have in my home to help me when there is a tough mess or when I am wanting to get a deep clean. My only complaint about the machine, is the time it takes to get it clean at the end. The hardest part for me to clean was the bristles area on the bottom of the machine. I do appreciate though that they give you the tools to make it easier. Overall, this is a great machine that gets a great deep clean.

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to use this steamer to help get stains out of our wall-to-wall carpet. With three kids and a dog, we have a combination of food and pet stains.
The steamer was easy to fill and empty. I liked the pre-measured marks on the bin to know how much water and soap to put in. The cord is long enough for me to clean the entire room without having having to unplug it.

Some Good Features But Not A Game Changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall experience with this machine was mixed. It did a decent job with day-to-day cleaning, but it deep-cleaning powerhouse I was hoping for. The look and design are modern enough, the gold finish really stands out, but the unit is still bulkier than I'd like and awkward to store. It takes up a good amount of space, which can be a hassle if you don’t have a dedicated storage area. The 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool was probably one of the more useful aspects, but again, not perfect. It was convenient for quick cleanups on rugs, but it lacked the power to fully tackle embedded dirt on stairs. I appreciated the built-in Pretreater feature in theory, but in practice, the improvement was minimal. It felt like an extra step that didn’t always translate to noticeably better stain removal. In some cases, just going over the area a few times worked just as well.Overall, the machine does an okay job for light maintenance, but between the storage issue, setup hassle, and only moderate results, it doesn’t feel like a must-have. For the price and space it takes up, I think I’d rather call in a pro once or twice a year and save myself the time and effort.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
