Compact and powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised with how well this vacuum worked! My previous vacuum was a Cleanview (model 2486) that is a few years old at this point. This Compact Turbo is at least 33% smaller and, with the detachable handle, I'm able to store it much easier. I have pets and both hardwood and carpet floors, so it can be difficult to pick up everything, but I found this to work extremely well especially with picking up pet hair. The handle detaches to allow it to be used for the added accessories and I found it very intuitive to put together and I appreciate having the handle to get to harder to reach areas! I found the turbobrush accessory to be the weakest of the accessories, but I'm not sure if that was user error or because of the brush spinning a bit slowly. Honestly the brush is not an accessory I use too often, but may factor more highly for others. The dirt container is easy to detach to empty, but is significant smaller than my previous vacuum (about 1/3 of the size). As an apartment dweller, the smaller container is vastly outweighed by the ease of storage, but might be a factor for others. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this vacuum and would easily recommend this to others. I feel a lot better knowing that my home seems to be cleaner and with less work than previously!

This is the perfect little vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy this vacuum was to assemble. I used it in my common areas and I was shocked at how much dust I had in my home. I emptied out all the dust and wipe the inside filter with some disinfectant wipes. It is super light weight and easy to move from room to room and up and down the stairs. I wish the attachment hose was a little longer, so that I can reach the ceilings a little better. Also, if you have a bigger home, you would probably need to empty out the dirt tank more than once.

Versatile Cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cleanview Vacuum is a great affordable option with good suction. It is a bit chunky for a "compact" vacuum but overall it's not too heavy and can be stored with fair ease. It cleans both hard floors and carpeted areas well and the attachments come in handy when cleaning cloth furniture. There can be some snagging if you have a fluffy carpet, so be careful. We prefer the Dyson cordless vacuum for its compact size for smaller areas of the home like the bedrooms but the Bissell Cleanview option is great for larger areas that require a plugged in vacuum with a bigger dirt compartment such as a living room which gets more foot traffic and dust accumulation. I would say this is best for a medium sized space - too big for a tiny apartment but too small to clean a whole big house. Additionally it is a bit louder than other vacuum's we've had. All-in-all it's not bad, especially for the retail price and considering you can get it on sale too. I received the CleanView Vacuum complementary for review purposes.

Great vacuum with excellent power!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bissell sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. This is my honest review of the Cleanview Compact Turbo Upright vacuum. This vacuum is awesome! I have a toddler and a 75-pound lab/border collie mix that sheds like crazy, so needless to say, I am ALWAYS vacuuming! I have a shark and a Bissell pet hair eraser vacuum already, but this Bissell Cleanview Compact Turbo Upright beat them for getting the dog hair and crumbs out of my carpets. I was a bit skeptical upon unboxing this vacuum because it is very lightweight...I thought there was no way it would provide a good clean. I was definently wrong! I put the vacuum together (very easy to do, I might add) and I vacuumed right after with the Cleanview. I hadn't vacuumed that day so there was a lot to pick up, and it got EVERYTHING! Even the dog hairs that were tangled up in the carpet that my other two vacuums were never able to pick up. The turbo suction definitely did its job! It was very easy to clean out the canister, but it is a little smaller than the one on my pet hair eraser. No matter to me, though, because the extra emptying of the canister of the Clearview is worth it for how well it cleans. I would definently recommend this vacuum!

Good starter vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bissell CleanView Compact Turbo Upright vacuum is a good starter vacuum for young adults or someone with a small place. Overall I thought it worked pretty well. My floors were clean and it's easy to empty. I did think it was cheaply made. But I also think that's the point. It's not meant to be a full time heavy duty vacuum. I thought the hoses didn't clamp into place too well. You kind have have to fight with them to get them on and off. The handle that's meant to be used as an extender as well is just awkward to use. It's easier to remove the main hose and use that for the extensions. I like the upholstery brush and think it does a good job on my couch and cloth dining room chairs. The tank is easy to get off and on to empty it. I did notice a lot of dust buildup sticking to the top of the bin and not actually settling in the bottom of the bin, so it looks dirty. I thought it blew out a lot of air while vacuuming so if you've got a spot on hard floors you're concentrating on it kind of blows the stuff around and you have to chase it. It has 3 settings for levels of carpet and I have a low profile carpet and found it hard to push. The wheels are cheap and no frills with no grip. I did like it's compact size. It's lightweight and easy to carry around and store. It does suck well so overall the cleaning power is there. I just wasn't satisfied with the build. But it gets the job done.

Great secondary vacuum
