Frigidaire 8000 BTU inverter AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in NYC and installed this Frigidaire 8,000 BTU kitchen AC in April, so I have only used it a few times so far.
Based on this limited use, it has cooled the kitchen well and has run extremely quietly, which I appreciate. Since I have not used it through a full summer or sustained heat wave yet, I cannot comment beyond that at this time. So far, I am pleased with its cooling and quiet operation.

Quiet and efficient air conditioner!

New unit believe this is a great company

Up grade replacing a twenty year old one

8000 BTU Inverter model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a recalled Midea "U" model and I like the fact that it works with the allergen filter and is not a "U" shape so it will also be easier to totally disassemble for thorough cleaning, if it is ever needed. The Midea was nearly impossible to work on (disassemble) and the indoor blower fan was caked in mold that's nearly impossible to clean without a total disassembly. The only downside to the Whirlpool is the requirement to download the app to use the 'quiet' fan speed and the flammable R32. The optional allergen filter really sold this model for me because it will really help keep the cold side internals clean considerably longer, as well as the health benefits.

Perfect for both efficiency and cooling and quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was amazingly light compared to the 5000 btu twenty year old air conditioner it replaced. My energy bill while running this new Frigidaire has been cut by more than 50 percent. Run's quiet too. Can't be happier. Well worth the money. Don't settle for just an air conditioner. Make sure to get an Inverter one. It will more than make up for the extra initial cost with month after month of energy bill savings.

Runs great for the time being

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the temperature control and ECO settings work. I've only recently purchased and installed it. Its early October (Fall Season) so not in heavy use. I purchased it to replace a Midea recall. I have a 5 month old daughter that I'm not putting at risk with black mold. This model should be much easier to clean if needed--fingers crossed. A little under 2 weeks at the moment and it's been working great. Honestly, I wish the review could be a year from now when I really put it into action through the summer.
