Love Motorola

I bought this phone a couple of months ago and so far it is very similar to other Motorola phones I have had. The onlhy part I don't like is having the fingerprint sensor on the power button.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great upgrade from the Moto G Power 2021 that I replaced. The move of materials from one phone to the other on startup was almost eerie in its completeness. The days of needing to back up your IMs or other data are gone.
Similar in concept to my old phone but everything is quicker and more responsive. I've had two transition challenges -- the headphone jack in on the bottom now, which is fine, but I always pick up the phone upside-down because of it; and it's a bit top-heavy so I've needed to change my grip to hold it securely, one finger up the back of it.
I'm not sleeving it because its body have a nice grippy surface that doesn't want to slip out of my hands when I'm using it. Given the price if I break it early I'm not too concerned.
I have about zero fingerprints because I'm old and work with firewood all the time. This phone detects my weak fingerprints like a champ, so I've turned off face recognition. No inadvertent opens, and super-easy intentional opens. A great sensor for that which I'm not used to having on ANY device let alone my phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Okay... But not what I expected

Got the phone for free when I bought service through Straight Talk. There was no 30w charger with the phone, only the cord and I had to buy a block that takes the type C cord. The battery is awful and getting worse. Alarms are randomly silenced or just do not go off. The volume in general is terrible, it's always way too loud . I never get notifications when I receive a message now. Also games will be randomly downloaded even with the game hub disabled. It's also very slow now and takes up to an hour to receive text messages or RCS chats now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this moto g power 6 months ago and I can't charge it with a cord anymore. Keeps telling me the charger is wet. I can't connect anything to the Bluetooth anymore either. Can't screen cast anymore as well. Now I have to spend hundreds more on another new phone.

Good phone, crappy battery

Only giving 4 stars because this phone takes forever to charge and the battery doesn't even last the whole day even with minimal use.

Overall gets the job done but some minor issues

Bought this when the screen delaminated on my previous Moto Power model and it became no longer safe to use. However, the included charging method causes the phone to overheat. Battery life is as advertised however. Perfectly serviceable.
