[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Yale smart lock was easy to install with just a few steps, just minimal tools were required. I am loving the Apple/google home connection, so if you’re either on a ios device or android, connectivity is a breeze. Battery life on this unit is spectacular, almost a full year!

Easy Hardware Installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The reason for 3 star is because the hardware installation process was really easy, mere 10 mins job. Just remove your old lock and install new one pretty simple, but connecting the lock to matter was very time consuming. You need to scan the QR code that comes with the lock to get started and it takes you to screen to connect your Yale Lock to Google Home. However, that part kept failing multiple times. Literally had to call the support because you must have Google Home and Thread Border Router to connect via Matter. Finally got it working after spending few hours. It does connect to the Yale app as well. Overall, I say the setup was quite hectic task, should not be that much confusing process.
