Fun for the whole family!

I was given this as a gift and I absolutely love it! I have the family plan, so we all get notified when a bird is at the feeder. Even my kids love to check the cameras to see what new birds have stopped bye!

Got it for Father’s Day by my kids and their wives. They know from my suet feeders (in use from fall to spring that I am an enthusiast! Solar bird buddy blows my mind. Only up since Friday, I am constantly informed of visitors by videos sent to my phone. It’s phenomenal!

I bought this a few days ago. Product is subpar. Besides being expensive and having expensive accessories. The app is complicated and too much for anyone but especially elderly people who are most likely the costumers. My husband and I(in our 30s) had a couple small birds that liked to live in our yard and though this would be nice. However- the app is complex, too many things for nothing really. I'm missing birds I know are landing because I have another camera pointed at my other feeder that's picking up this feeder too that I can scroll through the full day and night. Which is another thing that bothers me- it turns off at night and it misses those early morning birds. I pay way too much for the family plan so my mother in law and father in law can connect and had to do screen sharing and talk them through setting up the app because it was a complicated process for them. The extra price for the birds to stand on, eat with, the stand, then the app. For the it to work half the time.
The plus side is, once you get it set up you get to see a bird on your camera a few times a day as it stops by, you may miss the early morning visits. If you have your NEST camera set up on it you get to scroll through and see all the visitors that show up all the time.
Plus side is that my kids love seeing and naming our birds. My in laws love being able to see our birds and our kids hang out in our back yard, so, I guess it was a win.

A fun way to watch birds

I got this from my daughter for Christmas and it is the best present ever. It took 2 weeks to get my first bird once the stared coming I had 16 visits in 8 days. We have property 45 minutes from our house in a wooded area and has lots of different types of birds. I love being able to see what birds are going to my feeders. I am notified when i have a bird and it will identify the type of bird and I can change type if it is wrong. I can save pictures or videos as well as give frequent visitor birds a name. I am able to set feeder so my family members will get notified of activity and see the pictures/videos as well. I am going to get a hummingbird feeder to watch them also.

I love seeing and hearing the birds up close as they eat each day! The AI helps identify what birds visit my feeder, and for an inexperienced bird watcher, that is great!

Squirrel saga.

Love it, took me a week to beat the squirrels. I have my Bird Buddy hanging from a branch with a chain. I installed a 24” baffle and now enjoy the squirrels sliding off.Had to replace solar panel and secure it lower to get the sun.
