I’ve had my Bird Buddy for a little over a month now, and I have been absolutely loving it!
Waking up, the first thing I do now is check the feeder and see what visitors have stopped by. It’s really fun to see the little glimpses into the birds lives through the camera, and I would highly recommend picking one up!

The ideas behind Bird Buddy are sound, but the product as currently offered needs help. A majority of the IDs offered are incorrect, either because the species named is out of range (at times, even European species have been ID’d as present in Florida) or because the software is not refined enough to distinguish between/among similar species. To BB’s credit, the company is now asking for feedback when IDs are offered. I will continue to use the product for now, but if I had known how shaky the IDs are, I would have waited to purchase.

We gave this as a gift to a good friend who thoroughly enjoys watching birds. Whenever we get together he show us pictures of al the birds that have been at the feeder / camera. The bird species identification feature is essentially nice.

Lots of fun but room to grow

I love this product yet the materials have some room for improvement and there are definitely features missing that would seriously be beneficial like predator deterrent, better seed management options (larger storage, etc.). Several perch options would be nice. Th AI has been incorrect more than the prior software so far. Teaching it what everything is, is a bit laborious.
