WiFi & Dryness

Takes great photos when it keeps in contact with my WiFi. Tends drop off WiFi quite a bit. I live in Seattle and we get a lot of rain as you know. It would be nice to have a rain canopy option for the feeder to keep things maybe a little drier.

Roof keeps battery charged. Cleaning is easy but birds usually keep it pretty clean.

Identifying feathered friends

This was a gift 2 yes ago, also received a different bird feeder with camera and Birdbuddy is way better with identifying birds and keeping power to the battery. Even tho a bit pricier, it's well worth it in the end!

I cannot say enough great things about this feeder from the carefully crafted design to the ecological package it came in. I received my bird buddy as a birthday gift from my son and it has brought me so much joy getting postcards sent to my inbox on my daily visitors!!! I love that it not only tells you the type of bird at the feeder but also a little bit about the bird which is great for me because I only knew 3 kinds of birds before receiving this as a gift. The camera provides a high quality resolution photo and I LOVE THE SOLAR PANEL because it is constantly charging the camera battery so no need to manually charge the camera!!! The app is adorable and well designed and intuitive. Any person over 50 can easily maneuver the app and set up the feeder. I am constantly endorsing bird buddy. It’s a fabulous gift of nature to give to yourself or others especially in an age where no one is going outside and “touching grass”. I’m waiting to buy the bird bath once it’s back in stock!!!

Fun for bird lovers

My husband bought this for me as a gift. I love it. The camera is clear and detailed. The solar panel does a good job of recharging the feeder daily.
I also enjoy on the app to be able to view birds on other feeders, even in other countries.

My husband got this for me last Christmas. The Best present, ever!! I have been telling all my friends that the need to have one! I am a painter and an Audubon member so use it all the time to see what birds are in our backyard and to use their photos to paint them!
