Good Quality Video

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have found that the unboxing and set up of the Roku battery-powered camera was easy. Take it out the box, charge it, download the app to your phone, sync the device to the app once charged(steps provided in app) and set up the camera where you want it. The camera is water resistant, not waterproof. Try to remember that when setting up.
Other than that, you are good to go. The camera has a decent quality picture. It's a bit grainy at times, but you can still see faces well enough.
The app is able to detect if it is a person or pet, so that nice! It also has night mode and a spotlight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera was super easy to charge & setup and it is so nice to have an extra camera! The detection is super good & notifies you whenever a person is detected. You do need to pay a small monthly subscription to record the videos it captures but the fee so much less than a Ring subscription. I really enjoy this camera.

I’m using it indoors now as I’m going on vacation this week so I have it set up to be able to easily watch my pets on the app while I’m away. The motion alerts and two way audio are some of my favorite features.
When I get back I do plan on using it outdoors (or getting a second one) as it’s weather resistant and comes with great hardware to easily set it up. Roku really thought of everything. Even comes with a sticker to showcase for safety that the house is protect by Roku smart home.
