[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a little over a month ago and I love it. I put it on my back porch Mainly. It was very easy to hook up and download the app for it I like that it is magnetic so I take it down like when my grandson is here or something and place it where it can see him nap and I know when he's awake and what he's doing. Has worked great no problems with it. Would definitely buy again.

Poor signal strength, choppy video!

Who is it that is giving five star reviews on this boat anchor? These are rebranded Wyze cams, and I have dozens of wired Wyze cams as well as a dozen Roku wired cams and automated outlets. They work great, but this wireless cam has a hard time finding and keeping a solid signal to the base station even when the base is plugged straight into the back of the router via ethernet, and the cam is 10 feet away in the house/living room! Take the cam outdoors and start pulling your hair out and regretting this over priced paper weight. ugh...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Kevin, we greatly appreciate your feedback and want to thank you for being an avid Roku fan! For customers experiencing connectivity issues, we would usually recommend setting your camera up inside near your base station. However, we can see that you've already tried this without success.
You may want to try connecting your base station to your WiFi router wirelessly, rather than using the ethernet connection. In some cases, this may give you a longer and stronger signal reach, hopefully allowing you to use the camera outdoors.

Absolutely terrible

So far this has pretty good reviews so I thought it was gonna be a decent camera for a decent price, I was wrong. It takes forever to connect and the freezes when it's finally connected, never alerts when anything happens and the playback video it gives is always taken after a car drives by or someone is already gone. The battery lasted maybe a week, definitely not six months like it claims.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have the roku indoor camera and are super happy with the quality of the product. The outdoor camera though is definitely not as high of quality in our opinion. We do wish the product could turn. The speak feature is very unclear and garbled. It also was much more of a pain to set up. The wifi would not connect for the longest time. The battery life isn't great. We charged it for over 24 hours and it never fully charged up.

You can improve your battery life by decreasing your detection settings—this way, the camera will not record as often and will help conserve your battery. Additionally, if your camera isn't quite reaching 100% charge, be sure that it's powered off while it's plugged in. You may want to try plugging the camera directly into the base station to charge, rather than a wall outlet. Always wanted one of these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted an outdoor camera for a long time now so I was very excited to try this product out. Setup was relatively easy once I was able to get it to connect to my network. I like that this is wireless so I have more places I can put this without having to worry about an outlet. This is nice to check and see who might be coming. Personally one of my favorites things is that I can see if packages I have ordered or arrived or not. I very nice product that I will probably be purchasing more of.

The picture quality is nice and I love that the battery is rechargeable and also waterproof. I like to be able to keep an eye on our animals as well as our property. Love that you can see clearly at night.

Doesn’t Always Work

I bought this because I’m going through a DV situation and I need to be aware of things outside my home. It only catches things sometimes, I can go in and out and it won’t notify anyone. I have to think that if someone was coming to harm me that it may not even catch them on there.
