Exceptionally well made

The R50 is well made. Although I was worried about it getting broken by a bad shot, so I custom made my own protective case. It works great for my sim but I do notice on my wedge shots it doesn’t always read it which can be a bit annoying, and the courses would be great with more detail on the surroundings of the course on HomeTee to be more realistic. The course layout is on point and the shots are accurate in my opinion. All in all I’m satisfied with my purchase. I am definitely looking forward to see what the future holds with Garmin.

Perfect for Midwest Garage Simulator

This is perfect for a 4 season garage simulator. Not having to have an additional computer component but still get quality courses is great. Both club and ball data included is a big plus. I'm using it for winter/rain/cold weather practice. Well-thought out details. So far very, very good.

Excellent Launch Monitor

I am very happy with the R50. I have the Rapsodo and the R10. The R50 is by far the superior product. The Rapsodo never worked properly. The R10 is fine (and I still use it on the range) but having to use my phone to see the images is a pain. The R50 with the built-in screen is a giant leap forward.

I found the numbers to be inaccurate. I confirmed this by comparing it to my friend’s GC Quad

Amazing Value!

Cool Product, Just didn’t work out how I expected

I ended up returning the R50 after one use. I had a lot of issues with the R50 not tracking strikes with balls tee’d up for the driver. I also had to turn off the putting tracking feature while playing Home Tee Hero. I had to hammer putts to get the ball to track 1yd on the green.
Just out of the box I was very bummed I payed that much for the product, so I initiated the return.

It's great!

The hardware and software are great. Easy to use and quick to set up. Home Tee Hero, while fun, could use more game modes, customization, and QOL improvements that I hope come in future updates.

Garmin R50 - love it!

I have really enjoyed the Garmin R50! It is easy to set up and turn on when in use. The fact that you can just walk to it and be up and hitting balls in less than a minute is a huge value add for busy folks. The readings on it are very accurate and the putting is great and fun but took some getting used to. It is also very versatile - i have used it with just a net and also full projector set up.
