Overall an excellent product

I bought about a month ago with the understanding all my local courses would be available. Turns out there are many courses that are available in other Garmin products that aren't yet available in the R50. Once this issue is resolved I'd give this 5 out of 5 stars. Setup is easy and the best part is walking into my sim and being up and running 3 seconds later. Screen is excellent and customization options are phenomenal.

Everything is amazing - super responsive and quick. Large size isn’t an issue for me as the screen is easily readable. Only frustration - using outside and setting alignment is a little quirky and requires patience. Otherwise - very satisfied

Really helpful with very accurate measurements. I put it side by side with Trackman and the readings were nearly identical. Love the accuracy, ease of use and access to thousands of courses as a simulator. Screen is large and very clear. Highly recommend!

So far it has been better than expected. Very easy to use and has been fairly accurate. A couple of glitches, but nothing that the old "on/off" IT answer didn't fix.

Accurate and quick responses!

Owned for about a month.
Pros: responsive (quickly gives data), accurate, all in one mobility, great monitor/screen, easy to use, literally plugged it in less than 10 min from unboxing I was already on practice range! Love the "aligning" feature that displays the ball being in the monitoring zone.
Cons: hometee hero subscription required to play various courses, statistics on clubs aren't cumulative/saved into "my bag"/summarized. Minor bug issues (reverting back to a previous view option dissapeared until making a new guest visitor profile)

Improve features

I’ve only owned my R50 for about a week. I’m happy with the metrics although I’m still struggling a little getting familiar on how to move through the screens and get the formatting I’m looking for. I wish the website had more detailed videos on its functionality.
The accuracy seems good and it hasn’t missed a shot yet.
I would like to see improvements to the driving range. The “follow the ball flight “ feature is poor. You can’t really tell what your shot did. There should be options for different ball flight angles. And when the tracer lines build up on the driving range screen all you are looking at are a bunch of lines and you can’t tell what the shot you just hit is doing. That’s very disappointing. You should be able to show one line or five lines or all of them if you want but they should give you that simple option of selecting the option for what you’re paying for the unit. In general it seems to be a quality unit with nice accuracy but needs software updates to include better practice features in line with what SkyTrak offers.
